I don't know why I became so emotional when I heard this. I think it helps me understand how thankful I am for The Book of Mormon and the gospel restored. As weak of a member of the church as I am, it gives me strength. If you haven't, please, just read it. Your life will never be the same.

This was great, when you are raised in the church you sometimes forget where a lot of our truth comes from and how we got it!

Thank you for posting this video. I love how Elder Callister presented this topic. Gosh I never thought about it like that before. We are so lucky we have all the answers on how ordinances are performed. We have clarity on the covenants associated with those ordinances, and we have the authority. I am thinking of the saints in the scriptures who were eager to be baptized but had to wait for the instructions first. I do think about how marvelous it would be, and is going to be when the entire jigsaw falls into place for everyone. The many people who love and testify of Christ on the teachings of the Bible alone, will also become great instruments in the hands of the Lord. Thank you Elder Callister for sharing these wonderful truths. I can see you are recovering from an injury, yet you still made time to talk to us ❤.

I love the puzzle 🧩 analogy! I’ve often made the same analogy myself, and have always been grateful for the ongoing restoration of the lost plain and precious pieces of Christ’s Gospel-basically we’ve received the complete pictures on the box with the restoration. Have you ever tried putting a puzzle together without the “big picture”/the box? Having not a clue what we should be putting together. I’m so grateful to live in the he Latter Days with the “picture on the box “ so I know what I’m striving to piece together line upon line piece by piece as I learn by study and faith. When a piece “fits” and my soul knows it, it’s soo awesome!

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium... I guess the stake center cultural hall was booked for a YMYW dance. :-)

@@terrynorman9795 We’ve all heard of baptism by fire. This is it’s sister variant, baptism by shark.

Poor Brother Callister! Did the sharks bite his arm?
I love the simplicity and logic that Bro. Callister always uses. This is a wonderful talk, but the setting for it is a little surreal-with the sharks, the clinking of silverware against dishes, his arm in a sling, and the somewhat eerie string music in the background.
