    Whenever this man came to the free throw line they were already automatic. JJ in my opinion is certainly one of the purest shooters that the game of basketball has ever seen.

    You can tell that Redick was basically one of the very first modern shooters to do it in D1 MBB because he just took advantage of the fact that College had such a short range 3pt line at the time. You can see in this video most of the 3s he made were from NBA range but since College's was so much shorter at the time, it looks like he was making them from 40 ft out. In reality he just practiced as if he was always shooting in the NBA.

    One of the greatest shooters ever imo. Pure shooter. And fun fact: played in at least the sweet sixteen every year in college. No 1st or 2nd round losses.

    As a die hard UK fan, JJ was my favorite non Kentucky player ever. I think it's cause my high school coach had me watch all his games after my freshman year. I asked why and coach said that gonna be you next year. And sure enough I would constantly come off screens and fire but I also had the green light from anywhere. I jumped from 5.7 ppg to 16 ppg to 25.6 to finally 30 ppg. Not bad as a 5'9 165 SG. I did that by studying every single thing he did on the court. Now with his podcast you noticed real quick how cool he was. I know people lie like crazy on social media but everything I said is 100% accurate. JJ made me a 30 point scorer by my Senior year.

    This man was the best college player I ever saw. Watching him had your jaw on the floor every game. If you want to really understand how good this guy was, watch him vs Texas when he dropped 41... to this day I get goosebumps watching that.

    As a Duke fan I always tell other Duke fans that the one thing Redick doesn’t get enough credit for is how well he got to the basket and attacked it. We all know he was a lethal dead eye from 3. #BDN⚪️🔵😈

      @@benjamincook6625 kinda reminds me a bit of Kevin Love. When he was on the T-Wolves he was very present in the paint and the post. When he got to the Cavs, they turned him into a spot-up shooter. It's sad seeing players change roles like that and not use their full skillset.

      Curry's game ended up thriving in large thanks to players like Reddick helping broaden the horizons of how basketball was played.
      I don't think Curry was projected to be anywhere close to what Curry ended up being to be fair.
