They don't actually live there. They congregate for a couple of months each year to feed on the salmon. Then they all go separate ways again.

Salmon were late. Usually they come in late june, but they just started to come in late july. Don't worry, all bear all fatten up well.
What are the ID numbers of these little cubs?
little cubs don't get ID# until they are emancipated & have been seen at least 3x by bear monitors

Such beautiful fish. But nobody cares about them. Nobody cares that they can't fatten up for the winter because they'll be dead. The bears are cute, the fish are just something to be eaten alive. Strange isn't it.
