Please make a video on how to draw behind the eyes, I often see slingshot experts draw very far, like 2 arms length, 1 for the fork in front, and the other arm also extends far. That way, there is no way to take a peek and correct the aiming, but they can still shoot very accurately. I wonder how they do that.

Just a bunch of practice and a good anchor point

Hey thanks for the tip. All the years of bean shooting, I didn't really understand how the draw length was measured.

Have you, or could you, discuss drawing to the cheek vs. behind the ear?

Nathan, in your opinion, would "active band length" (factor of 4-5) be any different between using face anchor or butterfly (Albatross)?
    Thanks,

There's always room for fine tuning of course, but the theory of elongation remains the same no matter how far you're stretching. Remember, cut long and tune from there. You can cut more off, but can't put it back!

Why can't I just hold a measuring tape out and exclude the string step?

You could and get very close. But this doesn't account for the actual distance to the forktips and doesn't allow as true or natural a hold as the shown method does.
These are best practices, but in a pinch there are alternate methods, sure.
The important part is tuning those bands!

Because he's not you and has different ideas and goals and his channel is organized specifically for a reason. One minute videos with a single subject matter is actually an incredibly effective learning technique
