This performance always chokes me up a little because it was still just a few months into the pandemic. They had to record it in South Korea because there was no way for them to ever leave the country. They had had to cancel their tour that summer and there was still a lot of question about when or even if they would ever be able to perform concerts again because of their impending military service. It's very bittersweet because it brings all of that back.
RM and V also Tiny Desk performances from when they each released their albums. After this performance, a whole series of Tiny Desk Korea performances has come to be, although I don't know who first proposed it.

There is another medley selection by BTS, Festa Room Live 2021 which gives a selection of songs in different genres, fun and lively, great singing.

note : this is NOT a theory this is confirmed as much as possible. due to the perpetrators still being employed in high places in the sk govt they can not say a simple yes or no. the victims families confirmed the meaning of the song and music video is related to them and many koreans also say this so as much as non koreans try to say its just a theory etc theyre wrong because theyre thinking with the mindset of whatever country theyre from usually the west and in korea they can not say directly yes for this and other touchy subjects. also wanna point out italian army met with the families of the victims so the video is not disrespectful and theyre happy shes shedding light on the topic to non koreans.

also wanna add there is another video you can followup with after that one if you want. trust me you will get people who watch so viewership isn't a problem but the video is very long as are many on this channel but they will help fill in all the blanks after. it's not directly related to bts but about the actual tragedy.
rotten mango video on sewol. I heavily suggest her channel regardless because you can learn a lot about different topics and incidents all over the world mainly Asia. she has her own audience that has crossovers with bts and kpop and other korean content like k dramas but she also has crossovers with true crime audiences. so just a FYI if you also wanna start reactions to her videos. but 100% if you have time followup with a reaction to the sewol episode. :)

@@KingGreatnessKG So many CZcamsrs don't seem to realize that when they place the video screens at the bottom of the window, and rightly have the CC/subs button clicked on, that when we pause to check a detail or catch up on the subbed lyrics, they are hidden behind paused stuff at the bottom, like play, timeline, volume, autoplay, settings, full screen, etc.
And it's always better to have a larger video screen so we can see the individuals, action, staging and read the CC. We don't watch to see details in the reactor's room.
