- Here we have a new 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV in the LT trim level. This Bolt EUV comes in gray ghost metallic on jet black cloth interior. The powertrain consists of a front-mounted electric motor getting powered by a 65 kWh battery.
Standard features of this Bolt EUV include Bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and WIRELESS Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. Additional features include single-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and cruise control.

I own this car and love it. We have solar panels, so there no charging costs. I feel like I got my money's worth with this car for sure.
How and where to install this?
I have a '23 euv Lt. I bought it as a commuter only, but love it so much that sold my gas a diesel vehicles; the Bolt is quiet, quick, and comfortable. Where I live in BC Canada, reg gas is now $7.93/us gal, and residential electricity is $0.146/kwh. In Canada we get rebates not tax credits, which gave me $9,000 off after taxes, and I paid msrp.
The only things I'd change would be a heat pump for the heater, and to put the brake lights where they should be.
Similar to what I have. Mine stickered for $30,900 and I didn’t pay any markups. I had $2900 rebate built up on my GM card and adding the $7500 tax credit it became an EXTREMELY inexpensive new car purchase.
One day. I'm going to buy 23' Chevy Bolt EUV.
Buy one! I have 1300 miles on mine. It is a great little car. (It's not so little)

Very nice review. My concern is cost of ownership over the life of the vehicle. Although Tesla makes superior EVs, when things start to break out of warranty without a good parts distributor network and you have to source some very trivial parts from Tesla only, it makes the Bolt EUV an attractive alternative.
Question about the bolt. Is a surge protector recommended once you do the 240 outlet installation in your home? Anyone that might know any info is greatly appreciated.
You should just be able to wire it directly to its own breaker. Only way I’ve ever done it. Has it’s out outlet and everything like a household dryer.
What'll the maintenance be on this
Not quite sure. I need to read my owner's manual for my Mach E because I haven't done much maintenance that I'm aware of.

@@dannyboots What battery and engine repair costs? You have a 100k mile warranty on the battery and the motor has fewer moving parts than an ICE engine.

Nice review but I have a 5 mile commute and was wondering what modes are options? Can I set it to 100% electric, and if so, how far will it go on electric only?
