This band used to be my favourite as a teenager. It's been ages since I heard their music. Really thankful to them, they really gave me joy back then and helped through hard times even though people thought I was weird for liking music like this in a language I could not understand. This was the first song I heard from them, didn't speak English or Japanese back then and couldn't understand much but it still moved me a lot as a 12-year old. And because of them I got a lot of motivation to improve my English since I wanted to understand the translations of their songs haha. Now looking back as an adult their music brings back so many bad and good memories.

it’s been nearly five years and i haven’t listened to plastic tree much at all in that time, but i somehow wound up back here. i wish i could go back to this time in my life, it was so much simpler and happier, even if i was depressed i was still so much happier than i am now. ryutaro turned 50 this year, i can’t believe it. he still feels so young to me. maybe this means i’m just living in the past. one day i’ll be back again, i know it

this band has such a long discograophy and different sounds, sometimes sounds 80s styleindie, shoegaze, pop sometimes alittle emo/post hardcore ish. what are some more albums like Traumerei?

I tried to comment on this but it took too long and i ended up commenting on a recommended video that followed.. but the reappearance of this song on my radar brought back lots of memories, nostalgic, hope for the future that never manifested. I'm hoping whoever out there finds this, though, has hope and an eye to the future.

@azulestars123 My mom (azn) called it the "Oriental Witch" (Toyo no Majo), cuz azns seem to age sloooowly. And yes, she's lived half a century and and still looks like she's in her mid 30s, 40 at most.
