  • In this video I wanted to go into further detail on my process for creating, printing and heat pressing my DTF prints to sublimate on cotton shirts. I go into Creative Fabrica for my images, print them on my sublimation printer, use the DFT prints & powder, cure them on my new griddle, then press them on my auto heat press. These three summer sublimation images are perfect for right now. Hope you enjoy, and thank you for stopping by.

    The best educational videos are the experimental ones Saves many steps for the newbies like myself. I am a retired Vietnam vet. somewhat handicapped! Learning a new craft and invested in enough equipment to hopefully make a few dollars to pay my way. Respect for those that know and those that share. Sharing is learning! Thanks to all those that do! God bless!

    I had to use plain paper setting, so I don't get lines then I removed the rollers on one of my printers and it helped.

    If you change your density to -4 it will take care of the roller lines.

      You don't have to. I do it just for extra protection of the DTF film.

    You may pick up ink when you repress, using butcher paper is better to use in case you pick up ink.

    What should we do to get the white outline? Will we have to use vynil in the back?

    • @mgcraftsandmore
      @mgcraftsandmore  Před 8 měsíci +1

      If you're using dark colors, then you will want to use a white background, but there are additional steps to that. If you decide to do that, do a little bit of research first. I have used white sublimation htv, but didn't come out the way I expected.

      Well, the knob is from 1-4, so i think 1 is between 150-200, 2 is 200-250, and so on. I need to find the booklet to make sure, but I've had to use the 1 setting so i don't scorch the dtf film.

      This is a Tusy auto press, but I suggest you do some research. This one had only been out a couple months, and I'm constantly having issues. The seller did reimburse me 25% of the purchase price, but I wouldn't recommend this one.
