Hello lance I have been charged with a violation of the Seattle municipal code or revised code of Washington. The charge involved a criminal offense. My case was brandishing a 6 inch kitchen knife unsheathed near my apartment complex, I was elebriated and a bit delusional, witness across the way from me said I was staggering and almost made contact with passerbys they also said I was intimidating(I don't recall attacking anyone nor yelling verbal threats) The prosecutor in my arraignment did not mention any intent to attack anyone just that witness say I had an intimidating demeanor ( Would that be a victimless crime? Still a crime none the less) The prosecutor also said that it may be possible footage of the incident. Is this a gross misdemeanor? I have no priors nor a criminal history and Im employed. I was just under the influence a bit delusional with my 6inch knife unsheathed. Am I looking at potential jail time? Thank you I am subscribed.

Not so fast! This is what I'd file ! RCW 7.36.010 PETITION FOR WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS. Defendant is now the Petitioner, Plaintiff Defendant!

Sounds like your lawyer can get this case dismissed.
