RPYC Wednesday Jib & Main Racing - 27/7/2022

Not a lot of wind but sufficient to keep Lady Liza moving, albeit at the rear of the fleet. We maintained an average speed of 4.15 knots over the 7.2 NM course (#1 shortened). Our start was not great, about 40 odd seconds behind the gun (horn).
This video shows the various rounding and tacks interspersed with a little repartee and the odd beer (were NOT a dry ship).
Our result was the double! 15th on handicap and 15th over the line. Beating two boats over the line with one retiree out of the fleet of 18. Huckleberry finished 15 minutes ahead (first OTL).
We are not a light airs boat, perhaps next week will bring a reasonable wind.
