This is very spectacular. First time I saw the Himalayan range from the plane to Kathmandu I was amazed. Couldn't take my eyes off the amazing tranquility it has

what differentiates himalayas from other mountain ranges is its sacredness, piousness. as if centuries of prayers and meditations are consolidated in its existence, widely considered an abode of god. it is not merely a mountain range but an idol of worship, in its vast expanse and awe inspiring height. it is a gift to mankind by the almighty. extolled in ancient scriptures and prophet ascetics. its essence is beautifully captured in this masterpiece breathtaking video and matching mystic music. so overwhelming.

It is a sacred mountain range in Hinduism and Buddhism.Other people,who come from different cultures,cant really fully appreciate and connect with it. From time immemorial great yogis,hermits,monks have lived around this special place. The majestic snowy peaks,silence,high altitude,lakes,wildlife,botany,people, culture,monasteries with beautiful paintings,sculptures and old manuscripts

The continual sloshing sound of a flowing river reminds me of my youthful days in Kalayaan, Laguna where I enjoyed wading and playing with the small fishes and aquatic insects through the waters as my aunt was busy washing clothes by the riverbank. Then, when its time for bed, I could still feel the sensation of the flowing waters on my legs, as the crickets lull me to sleep. Happy memories indeed. :)
