Been starting to see a lot more cheaters in Standard - even ones with commendation streaks too! It is insane how people just don't seem to care or have given up on trying to combat this problem.

Regardless of the excuse or "reasoning" it IS cheating, just like a bot with walls is a cheater.
There aren't levels to cheating, if you're using something that gives you an innate advantage through 3rd party means (XiM, wall hacks, aim assist) then you ARE cheating and should be perma banned.

PC cheating is definitely worse than console xim. But console xim is still a huge issue.
While I do hate xim users at least there's a chance we can counter them during a match.
Though it'd be a lot better if people would just start TKing people they notice using xim, I've been doing it to get them to leave or rage but others care more about their KD than trying to get rid of the cheaters.

@@harrylitzler7086 essentially it gives them the ability to use mouse & keyboard on Siege for Xbox/PS, which has support for it disabled so they have to go out of their way to buy a specific item which allows them to.

The xims and stuff are easy to beat yeah its cheating but you still can shoot at them compared to dying 2 seconds into the round its much easier on console to beat cheaters
Naturally. But cheating is cheating. If siege didn’t let this problem get so out of hand they wouldn’t be scared to ban the cheaters but since they make up like 70% of the player base they can’t otherwise the game is effectively dead once they do that.

2:54 - So I have bad news, I think they just blocked some spots in the new patch. My method to get in prone spots has been to do big U shapes with my mouse and I always get in quickly... A couple days ago I tried to get into that same Villa spot but couldn't. So I just tried it in a custom game and still couldn't, AND I just tried to get into the barrels in Chalet wine and COULDN'T :((( Hopefully I'm just trippin, maybe I unequipped my varsity charm and lost all brain cells as a result
As someone who played on console for the first 6 years of siege, I actually did try going back to avoid the cheaters last season. However, I can firmly say console siege isn't what it used to be. I know people like to make jokes that console players are worse than PC, but it's actually true now (I don't think it was a few years ago). The randoms I would get in my games were consistently kids who barely payed attention to the game and would make some of the worst plays imaginable. I even had a few games where these kids were playing music in their mic over gamechat and would keep it playing the whole game so I had to mute them. After roughly 50 games I honestly preferred PC just because I would have actual teammates who took the game seriously, even if it meant I had to deal with cheaters. Granted I either solo queued or duel queued with my brother, so it would probably be a lot better of an experience if I had a stack to play with. Also, I'm not just saying I liked PC because of mnk vs controller, because I use controller on PC cause I'm a bot (still hit champ tho, not that that means much anymore).
My guess is that most serious siege players have either made the switch to pc by this point, or have just stopped playing the game entirely because of how poorly Ubisoft is handling the game.
pugging is much better experience than matchmaking. you can still get away with it, but the smaller community has to pick up on smaller amount of cheaters compared to 1000s of players in mm
As someone who has been playing console since year one the amount of kids swiping their wrist around with xim is like lebron dunking in a 8 year old girls basketball game

0:50 those comments ref: Console cheaters vs PS Cheaters is silly. PC has "Hackers" Console has Cheaters that use 3rd party device. the two are not the same. Console Cheaters below Diamond are bots. using devices to make up for poor game sense and poor aim. The higher ELO (MMR) players already have good aim and game sense, they're trying to get as high as possible. Lower MMR scum you can usually beat with Operator selection, Game Sense and Aim. It's not even comparable to wall hacks, aim lock, spin or rage cheaters etc.

Watching cheaters lose is more fun than any Esports and im all for it. If they werent that bad they probably wouldnt be cheating in the first place. Pretty much every time i come across cheater he went from around 0.4KD to 3.6KD from season to season. Its so obvious and they dont even try to hide it anymore.

Hit plat on console last season and now i play xim players each game and the stats are 33 total matches with 3 games without xim users and all the players were bronze 1 last season. So the only time im playing against legitimate players is when they are 1000mmr or more below me. Crazy 7x detection ubisoft
Im a monty main, my friend's a blitz main, a my other friend's uses fuze shield sometimes. We rarely ecounter cheaters tho

I've played controller on PC I use a Series X controller with elite stick mod and the right stick is a tall stick. With the new acceleration option I can beat even M&K players for the most part. I find quick peeking is way easier on controller than M&K personally.

I hope Evan realizes that the cheating on PC is bad... but until you get hit every single round on console by XIM users, you dont know true pain. Using a controller against a guy that can perfectly hold corners and push up on them while perfectly prefiring said corner, all while you struggle to keep your recoil under control and they dont... he'll eventually learn why I stopped playing it on both PC and Console soon enough.
thing is, going against xim on console means a skill ceiling gets put in place that you just can’t reach on console. playing against a wall hack or exploit user on pc is just not fair no matter if your at the highest skill level on keyboard.

Even worse. You can’t say hacker or cheater in game text chat. They censor you or sometimes the entire game from speaking at all for a time period. Been seeing it a lot lately

I’m pretty sure I’ve experienced pc cheaters on console it’s not hard to tell if someone is cheating. Also Siege has cross play now so yeah switching won’t really help you
if we get a siege 2 i hope we get a campaign that then gets cancelled and we go from 5v5 to 4v4 to "balance" the game better would be awesome we already have the over done monetization

regarding xim on console, its almost ALWAYS someone on playstation. I've almost never seen a good controller playstation player EVER. All the higher ELO players are pretty much all Xim. I hopped into my first game after work and a 3-stafck of PS was using them and a PS and one Xbox on the other, i left immediately cause im not trying that hard first game on.
Im not 100%, but besides having xim in 75% of the games, i believe i just ran into my 1st ever cheater on console. He always knew where we were, had terrible aim, looked at us through walls, never droned, and always had spot on prefires. When we joined him party and accused him, he got SOOOO mad and kicked us. Im newer to seige so im not 100% how the cheating/anti-cheat works.

Riot Vanguard, truthfully is worse than most anticheats. The cost of bricking your pc for anticheat that only works slightly better than most other anticheats. Devs just need to put effort into stopping cheaters and not looking for robots to automate their job.

I honestly think ubi i makes money off like xims and pc cheats because they could easily do something about it and their detection software is the worst thing of all time I’ve seen cheaters play for several seasons before getting banned and they will literally rage cheat (killing your whole team off spawn with aimbot)
great idea, because valorant doesn't also have a ton of cheaters. that's why there isnt a huge industry for valorant cheats as well! surely you cant find dozens of cheat providers for valorant with simple searches. vanguard is dupable and their ban rates are only a piece of the iceberg. so tired of the mythic status vanguard has as being infallible. the game doesnt even have replay...

@@VarsityGaming they ban 70k monthly from all available statistics, they have cheaters like every other online game. players of that game dont believe someone couldnt even be cheating so only half of the banned ones even had a report on their account. the subtle ones go months to years without being even accused due to the lack of replay system in the game. vanguard only catches the really dumb cheaters, like EAC or other kernel level anti cheats. your friend’s anecdotes are nice but they dont circumvent data. it’s estimated anywhere from 3-11% of the player base is cheating monthly with that game and it’s publicly reviewable data.
valorant is NOT the first and only online game in existence to have beat cheating, you bought the riot propaganda friend.
@@VarsityGaming over 70k are banned at the lowest recorded monthly rate on valorant for cheating. over half of the cheaters banned did not have a single report on record because players do not believe cheating can exist in that game. there is no replay system so unless you rage cheat you’re much more likely to never be detected. your friends anecdotes are nice but publicly reviewable data all points towards 3-11% of the monthly playerbase cheating.

Console cheaters are 100% worse. When you’re on a controller going against someone on mouse and keyboard it feels damn near impossible. Games like fortnite and call of duty have made y’all forget that KBM is in a whole different league than controller. In a vacuum a KBM player should be railing a controller player 8 times out of 10. Go back to bo2 and watch a dude by the name of xcalizors on console he’s a monster but when he plays on KBM it’s like he’s standing still and just flicking to his targets makes it seem like training grounds. Kbm is way easier to control someone like thaqil can stomp cheaters but the same can’t be said for the average console champ. Varsity why the hell are you even talking didn’t you miss a default cam on chalet you think you can go against ximmers with that Tom foolery.

@@VarsityGaming I’ve played against fighting game cheater varsity there is no other hopeless feeling than being infinitely frame trapped. If I had my whole arm and my brain I wouldn’t say I’d beat cheaters but I’d definitely have an easier time than I do now. You don’t play on console so you wouldn’t know but you can literally feel the code buckling when a ximmer kills you. It’s like the game knows what’s happening and it will start to bug out and lag. Variety you are indeed on sieges Mount Rushmore but you need to do better get in the aim training. I challenge you to play a month on console and feel the absolute sludge fest that happens once your hidden mmr puts your ass In champion.
I don’t understand Varsity constantly shitting on console. A vast majority of video game players play on console so he’s just shitting on his own audience first of all. Secondly console is way more affordable and has way fewer cheater issues. Calling console worse just doesn’t make sense to me. I’d rather run marginally fewer frames/res than deal with wall hackers. Xim and things like that are also less prevalent on console anyways so I believe console is better
console is not better, there is deadzone glitch which makes it literally impossible to aim and play and the best part is it has been there for almost 2 weeks now and there are aLOT of elo trappers in ranked
