Great video you guys were banging out the firewood!…got to tell you I have a couple excavators and ran all kinds and sizes, but none of them had a cylinder like the one on your splitter…that’s one big piston!
Matt, you are right in doing what's works best for you with what ever your operation allows. Glad you had a great production day with a three man crew!
If you crank up the power on the conveyor a little more, you'll be launching wood into the atmosphere bahaha, great job on the videos. Big fan since the beginning
I've switched everything lol. I cancelled my 12-22 from Eastonmade and ordered a Wolferidge ss2824 skid steer splitter with the Magnum package and ordered a thumb for my backhoe so now the backhoe or even skid steer splitter will pick up the logs so no more bending over to cut and the skid steer splitter will pick up the rounds and bust them up right next to my Super Split, only thing I'm missing is a conveyer and possibly ordering a 24ft from Wolferidge maybe June but for now I have my dump trailer right in front of the splitter and it's not much effort to just chuck the rounds. I was looking to buy a splitter for re-splits to work along side the Super Split and really liking the new Wolferidge RS17
That will be a sweep setup. If I was going to order a splitter for “re splits” I would get the ultra or the axis. Ultra will be faster but the axis has way more control of pieces.
@@FirewoodontheHill One nice thing about Eastonmade is they will honor my 500 deposit if and when I want to order something else. I think for the "perfect set up" you need 14 splitter types, 4 conveyors and other people to do it all for you lol
Nick throwing those rounds to the splitter with such precision, I am impressed. I’m sure Everett and his loved ones appreciate the accuracy as well 🤕🤪🤣
Nice work and video Matt! We are planning to head to Georgia and Tennessee this summer, and Texas and Kansas this spring visiting grandkids! Our daughter in Kansas had a baby earlier this month. We got snow Sunday night into Monday. Next week we might get more the weather guys are saying.
I agree Matt!! What works for one woodyard may not work for another!! Great video!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thanks for watching!

I should’ve left the bigger motor on the conveyor. There’s no telling how fast it would’ve went haha
👍👍

Rubber belting for conveyor is the best ,no metal on metal good video again
Thank you!
Definitely need an extra set of hands to get the full capabilities out of these commercial splitters.
Very true. I don’t run it by myself unless I logs are staged or I feel like I’m waisting time.
Nice day in the woodyard . I totally agree with you . If it works in your wood yard then do it like that !!!
Right on!
Great day in the woodyard Matt!! Terry
Time for some stacking
Haha yeah….
You fellas got er done! Nice mountain of splits. That conveyor belt is awesome. 👍🏻👍🏻-TOA
Thank you!
Hello Matt, that conveyor could be a carnival Ride😂 safe splitting to ya buddy🚜👍🏼🪵🇺🇸
Haha need to name it.

Nice man y’all are going to be busy!
@@FirewoodontheHill You have that right!
Maybe you mention later in the video but what splitter is that?
Wolfe ridge 28c pro. I have the magnum package which has the bigger cylinder and faster cycle time.
@@FirewoodontheHill nice thanks
Lots of hands definitely make firewood production faster...Until one of those hands loses a finger!🤯
Hopefully no one loses a finger.
Looks like a whole lot of stacking to be getting done. Lol. Great job guys.
Yes unfortunately lol
@@FirewoodontheHill why??, at least you would know why supper is late, cause the Wife is outside stackin'
@@benscoles5085 lol she’s on strike until it warms up lol.
I couldn’t disagree with what you said, That’s the best thing you said on your channel you have a nice firewood operation,
Thank you!
Good production day Matt. Everett and Nick fed the 28C non stop. Your system is working good. 🔥🪵🇺🇸
Thank you!
Matt, I would slow that elevator down, it can't stay together at that speed.
We turn it up to throw it over the pile when it gets too tall.
you could deliver wood next door with that conveyor. hahah
Haha it’s fast
Wow, your conveyer was running super fast. You had a nice pile of wood.
Yeah we turn it up to throw wood farther otherwise we would’ve been done 30 minutes earlier haha.
Matt : Your neighbors ever give you a hard time about wood and noise ??? LoL
No I usually make all the noise on Saturday and Sunday.
