  • After revisiting this I realised I'd been very unfair to Mr McCulloch and Mr Glynn's themes, so I've brought them both higher in the mix. I've also brought in more sections from Debney's theme and given the Delaware middle eight a bit more prominence.
I've also tweaked the video a bit (now in full colour!).
    Versions included:
    Delia Derbyshire (1963 - 1969)
    Delia Derbyshire (1970 - 1979)
Brian Hodges & Paddy Kingsland - The unused "Delaware" (1972)
Geoff Love - From "Star Wars and Other Space Themes" (1978)
    Peter Howell (1980 - 1985)
    Dominic Glynn (1986)
    Keff McCulloch (1987 - 1989)
    John Debney (1996)
Thanks again to ‪@Tweetlord‬ for the use of their superb Peter Howell isolations.

Well that was amazing, looks as good as it sounds too, I particularly love what you did with the old video feedback (‘howlaround’) effect, so smooth and vibrant, very effective!

2:50 the orchestrated part kinda sounds like Murray Gold's theme

this is genius, a hint of all the themes throught the years. Why didnt BBC think of this, its absolutley fantastic for a 60th aniversary theme, you have better thinking than the BBC, althgough it would be a lot shorter.

Brilliant, I can hear those tweaked elements from Glynn and McCulloch.
    Gonna listen again 😂
Do you think you could remix all the pop dr who themes including KLF Doctor’in the Tardis (especially with your middle 8), orbital, Eric Winstone, Jeff Love, mankind, Jon Pertwee Who is the doctor - for his vocals, Cybertech, Vashta Nerada by traffic experiment.

@@cunningmunki you’ve just mixed 8 or 9 themes from the classic series very well so I have faith you could mix something out of the 8 or 9 I mentioned, elements of the best bits of each, the ultimate pop tribute
