@@Cmdr_DarkNite even with bugs it was one of the most enjoyable games of the more recent years. Most stuff that gets released today is either shit, riddled with bugs and microtransactions and so on.
It's glitchy and buggy but still honestly I think one of the best games ever made and I think underrated pits it lightly

I really hope they make a second game to this whether they continue Henry's story or not, these developers are great and I want another game that's a sequel to this.
They are doing apparently I just hope they simplify the combat system because it's infuriating at times especially when youve got 3 or more guys hacking away at you and the camera is swinging round all over then out of no where as your about to get a hit in a dog starts swinging off your arm.

I assume you have the game? Load up a new game and just start doing crimes, let yourself get arrested, and you'll see it right away. 5 minutes.

It is totally possible to kill all cumans playing on console. All you need is to pick up flowers in Skalitz and kill cows to level up strength until you reach strength level 14 (minimum required for halberd). Stealth kill a guard who has a halberd. Make sure to leave Skalitz with the halberd and good gear taken from guards. Mount a horse and one hit kill all cumans with your OP halberd. Even without the horse you can easily kill them, but on horseback it's absolutely a breeze.
How much time does it take to reach strength level 14 with that method?
@@patryksteckel I don't remember exactly how long it takes. But I'd guess some 6 hours, due to the fact that you might have to stealth kill quite a few peasants in the process, otherwise they will call the guards on you if they see you attacking the cows. There's also the fact that you have to kill the cow, move away and come back for them to respawn. You can alternate between doing this and killing sheep with a bow (which also levels strength). But I think leveling up in Skalitz is quite fun. I definitely spent more than 20h just doing stuff in Skalitz, reaching main level 16 or more.
That's very excessive, just use the sword and do stabs, takes 1-2 per cuman and if you sprint with the horse from one end of the road to the other (without the death or continuing cutscenes) you can easily kill them at level one rushing through with nothing but the sword and a horse, I did it this recent playthrough and put all the gear I could on the horse and lost it when I went back to Skalitz to bury parents XP
@@rhuninn5619 You sholdn't put any gear on horse. Just walk away on foot with all loot. After cutscene you will start riding on horse. It is quite slow but stiil possible to make it to Talmberg. In Talmberg you buy one night in nearby tavern and leave everithing there.
Get of the horse just b4 you get the talm blacksmith. You can pick up the horse after you get rescued.

One of my favorite games, I'm heavily ento medieval themed games such as skyrim, oblivion, mount and blade. When I saw the reviews, gameplay, and bought this game. I was udderly blown away.
This game is based off of a real place too, I saw a video showing side-by-side comparisons of the in-game towns and their modern real life locations. That Sasau monastery is still unfinished to this day.

Sadly, after KCD there is SO MANY unlogical things I got really used to in Kindom Come, that it literally hurts to do - from invisible walls in "the open world" through idiotic level scaling system of monsters between locations to those tiny little details, when you enter someones house, take everything they have and only thing they do is greeting you.
Crowds hate you, but entering a house and stealing all is perfectly fine? I didn´t mind it in games before, but now after KCD I do and I miss this part of roleplaying in other games. The same with overloaded combat Geralt - in KCD if you are loaded and slow, you have no chance in combat. In W3? Geralt is like Yoda in SW EP2 - walking slow, but suddenly in fight nothing matters...

I remember doing this without mods. Just got on the horse and rode back and forth, swiping as I passed. Took me a loooonnnng time, to get the timing right, but I ultimately defeated all the enemies and carried all the loot haha. Henry was weighed down until I could get to a chest.
Skalitz only turns to the raided version once you leave the premises, so If you never leave it never gets burnt down

I thought you were going to pop into Theresa's house once she locked the door! Still, very very cool!
I also thought. I did that on console. All you need to do is run inside with her. She says something like "Run, Henry, you have no chance against them", which is clearly false, as you can kill all those cumans easily. After that she despawns.
i stole bow from skalitze guard and shoot all cumans. than i opened the door with lockpick i found on one of dead cumans and house was empty.
I gather there is an invisible boundary around Skalitz. There is only one exit to Talmberg which does not open until the Cuman attack triggers. The Cumans herd Henry toward that exit. Once the attack sequence begins, the invisible boundary wall will kill Henry with "a stray Cuman arrow". Nowhere to run to, baby, nowhere to hide.

Hey Roxy, there's a mod that was released on the Nexus recently called "Alternative Start Alternative Approach" (mods/799) that allows you to explore the world before you trigger the Talmberg sequence and the world time is frozen to 4pm. However you cannot go back to certain parts of Skalitz otherwise you'll die and you cannot go near certain perimeter of Talmberg otherwise the cutscene will be triggered. You can freely explore anywhere else tho. Hope you'll give it a try.

There will be about 21 cumans that follows you/spawn in in total. However, if you exploit the horse charge mechanic you can kill them all and they will stop spawn at that point.
At times it sounds like Ricky Gervais is messing about with a trainer in Kingdom Come Deliverance.

You can actually kill most of the cumans just using a halberd and a horse it takes some time but it does not require invulnerabilty, the only hinderance really is stray cuman arrow event on passing the borders of the intro. Easy way to start out with tons of items and gold if you dont mind spending quite some time picking at the cumans in full gallop to not be hit.
Protip: Jump on the horse with the back saddle farthest right and joust with the cumans using stab attacks. Focus on the archers. Kill the one with the polearm (i have combat and immersion compilation so maybe he doesn't spawn with that). Afterwards, steadily kill the swordsmen. If they blob, run around them. I just started a new playthrough and killed all the cumans and got myself all sorts of gucci weapons and armor. Makes for a much better early game yo.
I wonder what happens if you max out your combat stats in the intro and get the guards armor and fight the hungaruans
Hello, 3 years later and finally laying this. I've been killed in every place so far, the prologue, Talmberg, and not yet Rattay, but I can promise I'll die there soon. I killed a few people in Skalitz and looted their bodies, I then killed 6 people in Talmberg, 1 cook, 1 stable hand, 3 villagers, and 1 chamberlain. In Skalitz I first punched two horses, got thrown in jail, and burned to death. In Talmberg, I got stuck in an endless "spotted" loop forcing me to fight. I proceeded to fight, wearing a decked-out guards' armor, killing a guard. I would've killed the second one, but the entire army came running at me. I also tried to fight that lockpicking guy, who brutally murdered me. I had to keep restarting so many times. I was able to choke out a guard (guard in the beginning when you get the "speak to sir roborg, get a horse, and escape Talmberg" mission), guy with a helmet with arrows and a bow. I also proceeded to kill a dog in Skalitz as well, farewell poor pup. Adding to this, I killed a man and her wife. I walked through the door as he opened it, chocked him out, killed him. I heard his wife, so I dragged him into the rightmost storage room, not the one on the left. I then proceeded to loot the corpse, stealing the money and both keys. I then went into the kitchen, spoke to the wife about her life in Rattay, then chocked her out, and killed her. I also looted her corpse. I walked outside and saw they had a dog, I killed him. Best to let them rest, am I right? Also, I did encounter a bug in Skalitz. I had hid behind a door, and the guards stood there. (I was wanted for the murder of a villager in the inn). I also had killed the Ballif. He came running after a woman saw me murder her husband, I then killed her as well. The Ballif came in and I killed him, clearing that mess up.

MightyElf lol nope, they all gather around and compete to pick up as much as they can carry, buy only if they don’t know you’re watching. Try it! I did it in the Rattay town square and had 20 people all descend like vultures at once and picked ALL of it up. Go try it. Report back.

I killed the cumans on horseback. Unlocked the house. Couldn't open the door still. But unlocked.
You can follow her in as she opens the door. She simply despawns after a few seconds.

An early "cheat" is to use the sword and mounted combat to kill all the cumans and loot their gear. I have not restarted since the latest patch blocks you from getting on the horse while over-encumbered, so not sure if that cheat is still possible.
Do you play with controller or keyboard and mouse on pc ?
I always slay all the cumans before leaving skalitz, horse combat is op thus why you never actually fight someone else on horseback. The one point with someone on a horse he gets off when he wants to fight.

In my game, I used my sword to poke one of the cumans trying to rape her,
On the Woman's Lot quest, Henry does the exact same thing I did. Even the same guy I poked, but I think that's just coincidence.

I spit my coffee at the screen when I saw the Cumans in T-pose on horses.
This is one of the few criticisms I have of Kingdom Come Deliverance, in that, the first 2 hours of the game are effectively a tutorial that you CAN'T stray away from. Don't get me wrong, there's a LOT of little hidden things you can do. Ex. When I left Skalitz I was around Level 6, my Strength level was 8, Agility 2, Vitality 4 and Speech 3. And I made it to level 5 in Stealth, and I was leaving with a gold ring, a brocade jacket and some leather boots, but the fact that there is a absolute beaten path you can't stray from at all is a tad frustrating.
I know it's late but what are the things you could do to level up while still at Skalitz?

I love this game, while it is still, even in 2020, a bit buggy at times, it is over all a great game. That being said, the beginning of it made little sense; in 1403 a massive army didn't "sneak up" on a town, people would see it coming, you would have heard rumors and reports from scouts etc. Army's in the late-middle ages didn't move that fast, they took weeks to go a few 100 km's, it's not like the German Blitz.

I took it more of them being raided since in talmberg they make it clear it was for looting rather than territory and they where on horseback so it's possible it could have been too late to do something like warn the village.

Really good game. I do just wish there was less of a set storyline and character background. It does make it hard to fully roleplay.
