I have a Fiddle Leaf Fig and it is 7ft tall. My son gave it to me 2yrs ago on Mother's day. I have it in a Sunroom and it is very healthy. I bought a water gauge and l know when it needs water. I absolutely love it.

Useful tips..after a lot of deliberation, I bought a small one for Rs 500..hoping to nurture it into a large one🤞..so far so good..I keep rotating it too, so that all sides get equal sunlight n growth is uniform.

I have got a very small may b 8-10 inches and been for 6 months keeping outside full dhoop and plant is doing good growing also fast
I have tried propogating with leaf. Placed it in water for a month, it didn't grow roots but I could see multiple white bumps. So I repotted in the soil. I kept it for 6 months hoping to see new growth but nothing happened. When I uprooted, I saw a quite a bushy root system.
To summarize this elaborate project, leaf propagation doesn't work whatever Pinterest says! Would be happy to share the pictures if interested

I love the way you explain about plants in your videos. In fact you are my "go to" person whenever I face any issue with my plants.
Please let me know if I can repot the fidle leaf fig plant in the same pot by root pruning once the plant is root bound as I have limited space and don't want to repot the plant in a bigger planter.

Do the plant grow leaves in the lower part of the stem. I have one which has leaves on the upper part but lower ones just had browning and fell one. It no longer looks aesthetic :(

I've prepared this semi kind of garden on my terrace.
The sun is not direct yet it gets the necessary light.
Now I've 3 fiddle fig trees almost 5 feet tall. The thing is out of the 3, two started getting brown leaves & even fall. I just bought them 5-6 months ago.
They're all placed in a 2 ft high pot with atleast 1.5 ft diameter at the rim.
The watering is done every 2 days bcz me being in the south the soils dry up very fast.
What am I doing wrong?

You mentioned about insects problem too are related to water and sunlight, my balcony facing east is a lovely place, flowering and fruit ing , passion fruit, too, but meealy bug problem is too much it's past 1 year not going, get scared to use solutions as it may harm plants, tried, rice water, shampoo, neem oil, doesn't work, i noticed this mealy bug (soft white waxy ones) entered when I started growing brinharaj for my daughter s hair issue s, i make pack and oil with it. Pl guide how to get rid of it without harming plants

Recently I kept my fiddly plant outdoors and forgot to check, and all the leaves of one side of the plant became brown😑.. can I fix this???
If the inner stem is still green try keeping it indoor and water it as per requirement ..... Hope that works😊
