    I changed out the rear tires on our ISX2100 to the Carlisle Versa Turf 24x12.00R-12. They provide EXCELLENT traction. No more sliding sideways on slopes, or hills. Our son no longer has to use a 4x4 tractor to pull it out of his pond, each time he mowers the embankments. Check out the Versa Turfs. They make many different sizes. Semper Fi. OUT!!!!!

    wheel weights on the drive wheels will help with wheel slippage, but with that additional traction there is a better chance for the front to come up. They also make front weights that slip over the castor towers putting an additional, 50# at the front to help keep the front end on the ground. Once the front end comes up it is hard to get on the controls fast enough to prevent it from coming all the way up.

    I have a Wright ZK stander & Exmark Lazer ZX 60” with suspension seat. Seriously considering the Ferris isx 2200 for my next mower. My bones would appreciate the smoother ride😊

    • @JsCrazyCutzLLC
      @JsCrazyCutzLLC  Před rokem

      Good choice but, I wouldn't recommend that mower for sticky situations 😏☝️fantastic smooth ride but, doesn't perform well on slopes or ditches. It's also much longer than most 52" zero turns. I still like the mower though 👍

    Move your rear shocks to the vertical position instead of leaning forward. To me it offers a better ride and should give you clearance for the tires.

    What do you use on the heim joints where the manual says to use petroleum chain lube? I thought about using Mystic JT-6 Multi-Purpose Grease. My nephew had a dirt late-model and we used it on the heim joints. Best stuff we ever found because everything else we tried the heim joints would squeak at the end of the race but not with that Mystic grease.

    • @JsCrazyCutzLLC
      @JsCrazyCutzLLC  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes you can adjust the springs with the supplied tool🔧. It should have been in the bag for your owners manual. I prefer the spring set in the middle position up to 500hrs on the machine. I find the springs ware out after about a 1000 hrs and you will probably want to set it in the firmest position at that point. I also find the softer you set the springs the less control you have and scalping accurs🤷 hope this helps 👍
