Saha and Pant really do need to sit down and talk to Kumar about balancing and reconciling twin responsibilities. Even in this free flowing chat, he has so much of insight that most non-keeper batters miss when trying to address the two keepers' individual problems with bat and glove respectively.

Had Sangakkara been there for another 2-3 years he would have broken Sachin’s records easily but he wasn’t a person after records instead he wanted to give a chance to the youngsters. He left the international cricket when he was at his peek. Then joined England county cricket and scored 5 consecutive hundreds. This is something to think. “I’m less talented compared to Aravinda. I loved to bat like Aravinda, Sanath and Mahela but I can’t “ what a humble gentleman he is. Hats off KS. You are the inspiration for every cricketer!

Not happening anytime soon. I can't believe they weren't prepared for the Transition... They knew Sanga and Mahela were in their last leg yet there was no grooming of youngsters which was baffling.. Mahela and Sanga were well groomed before Jayasuriya, Ranatunga, Arvind D'Silva retired..

Even the Legend Sangakkara knows that Hardik Pandya has the talent in him to perform at higher stage. We people too often mock him, make fun of him remember he is someone who is playing for India. He will perform, we need to back him, support him to the fullest. Lastly, some ex Indian players are making fun of Hardik, unfortunately their job was to support young players not pull them down.

My favourite keeper before MSD
It’s always sad that whenever we interview a great player such as sangakkara we ask him questions about an Indian players . The show should be about him and maybe a question on another topic. I don’t know if it makes sense to talk about dhoni for so long in a sangakkara interview. Harsha is one of my favourites I’m not sure he makes up these questions .
He holds prerogative not you; right? And he is the most appropriate person to ask question about Dhoni, Pant and Saha since he has himself been wicket-keeper. And Why questions only limited to his career why not on others?
Kamlesh Bharti it’s all fine but there’s always 70% questions based on unrelated topics . We are talking about pant / Dhoni on every interview it is getting boring now

Harsha bhogle is one of the best cricket journalists and commentators in the world the best Indian journalist for sure . No issue against him .
The overall media talk about the Rishab pant issue every single day that’s a bit over talked about and also Dhonis retirement is so much talked about that no when this covid-19 thing has happened there’s nothing else to talk about .
Good point Nick. Agree with you. I also doubt whether harsha comes up with these questions or it's demand from the producer/production team! Harsha is a very considerate person so I doubt whether he'd be too keen to ask Sanga about other players.. once I watched an interview of sanga n mahela together I think it was in aajtak.. boy it was so embarrassing to watch ! They just kept on asking about Indian cricket 80-90% of time.. the players were also bit embarrassed but bcoz it being india they couldn't be so vocal about their irritation..
Sanga should have been asked about the many keepers that are currently playing in the 11 or the 15 squad in Sri Lankan cricket rather than pant vs saha.. its okay to ask a fellow cricketer turned commentator about Indian players/team and opinions like Naser Hussain, Tom Moody etc but a tad dis respectful for just an ex cricketer :)
nishant 100% 1-2 questions is fine not the whole interview or 80% of it . You’re right it probably isn’t even Harsha . I live in Australia and listen to lots of Harsha gold on radio / tv whenever he comes here and also on all other channels in Indian tv . He is the most fairest and partial cricket journalists there is and probably wouldn’t ask national questions himself , he was even criticised by amitabh once for not praising Indian players . I guess as a cricket journalist/ commentator you need to be partial which he is , it’s probably the producer/ viewers that are making Harsha asks stuff like this .
It’s sad because I’m of Indian origin myself and love indian cricketers but it becomes an overkill when media is saying things and not promoting the global game as it should be . If I see a sangakkara interview I want to know about Sangakkara and 20% about other interests as I’m a sangakkara fan too. Similarly if interview was with Dravid I’d want to see questions all based on him.
I saw that Nasser Hussain interview and thought to myself this guy has so much knowledge on the game surely we could have asked him more sensible questions than India India India but it didn’t happen .

Won't happen.
Wicket keeping should now be considered a separate skill, their batting or bowling records should not be compared with normal batsmen. Wicket Keeping takes a lot out of a player.
Pant is not even batting properly, Bhai Tu batting hi Kar le dhang se tab tera soche. And one of the main reasons behind his failures are Kohli and Shastri, they mismanaged him.
He's already hit a hundred in Australia and England 😂😂😂. No Indian keeper has managed thay

@@akshaykumar-sj9ds pant is an instinctive played more of a hand eye coordination kind player...has a lots of technical issues which may reflect later on as his reflexes may slow down so wind is blowing in his direction now so getting away with a lots of so called audacious shots...
