What an interesting man, what tales from his past and the past of others he can relate. Thanks so much for this glimpse into your life and the lives of so many very interesting characters from London's past. So very well done.
Billy's house in Lewisham, where he ran the spieler is still there and in good order. It would be great to see it turned into a home for retired gangsters. Go to 1 Halesworth Road for the photos and memories. Visited there once with dear old dad and would love to go back in there for a hand or two of poker.
And battle of Mister smiths Harry was not there he was in the nick, he was cat B and when the news hit the prisons they put him cat A, " there nothing but dog" Harry's words

Where was that pub? Always mind moving down from glasgow in to mcmillan st back in 85 to play football. Guy I was staying with told me don't go in to that pub at entrance of his flat, the madhouse. I went in on Sunday mornings and the bar would be full off seafood. A stripper would come on and not 1 of the regulars would look at her but fill her pint pot with 20 pound notes. Nobody said a word to me till after a few weeks a big 1 sidled up to me and said "barlinnie*. Lol. The pubs in the high St had big blondes outside them, took me a few days to realise they were on the game. Team played out of the coach & horses in Blackheath High st. Good memories.

You might want to revise the title. The symbol between Billy and Harry does not mean 'and', it means 'at' so your title says 'Billy at Harry Hayward'.
