MEET PETER
A postmodernist with an eye for color, Peter Shire’s been making art
in his native Los Angeles for decades. His work spans sculpture, ceramics,
furniture, and now, the vibrant, speckled mural outside the Silver Lake sg.
NATURAL BEAUTY
Always finding inspiration in unexpected places, Peter could
make art from anything, including sweetgreen’s naturally colorful
ingredients. His medium of choice? “Beets.”
