- In an alternate future timeline in which Eve Sands survived, the vampires have gone to war with humanity and seized control of much of the world. A werewolf/human resistance movement continues to fight against the vampire supremacy, but it is proving to be a losing battle. Although the resistance hold to the prophecy that Eve will be mankind's salvation, the vampires have reasons of their own for wanting to keep her alive...

It's shame Mr Snow was killed off so early. He was the best villain in this series in my opinion. A vampire so old he can disembowel people, immune to crosses and invitation (he's bound to be, seeing as Wyndham was over 1000 years old, so that's probably the age where vampires overcome that weakness)

Indeed. Mr. Snow was an excellent villain and really deserves more credit in my opinion. ;)

Also immune to sunlight. But take into consideration that he's over 3,000 years old. Wyndham might be strong, but not as strong as Snow.

Another has been bothering me for quite awhile now: When Cutler meets Mr Snow, he says that he hasn't been to Britain since 1779, so that's over 200 years he's spent in Bolivia, yet he somehow keeps his adopted RP English accent. I know it's because the actor (Gatiss) speaks like that, but in a real life situation, his accent would've changed quite a bit. But it's not real life, so what am I complaining about?
Given how long he's been active, I suspect he speaks a slew of different languages which native-sounding accents.
Yeah, you've got an interesting point there. I mean, he was born (according to the wiki) in 1000 BC, making him exactly 3012 years old by the time we see him and at the time of his death. So, because he's that old, he probably would've lost his original accent anyway.
BTW, it's the shame the series was cancelled because they could've delved more into the origins of vampires, werewolves and ghosts. Also, they could have introduced the Brothers as well (the very first vampires), even if there were only one of them left.
That's assuming Mr. Snow only stayed in Bolivia for the 230 years after his previous visit to Britain. Given his age and power, I assumed he and the Old Ones basically moved around every several years or decades during that time and Bolivia was their latest stop before the return to Britain. There are a lot of countries in the world after all.
Wow, they're literally wearing Nazi-like armbands. I love this show, but my God, it was never subtle...
Rewatching it now, I'm wondering if the Old Ones decided to model their vampire regime's iconography on the Nazis purely as a kind of sick joke towards the humans.

He knew exactly what color her eyes were because in this timeline, he had already met her as an infant as a child.
I know this is a late comment but I still want to know toby whithouses logic in why mr snow and even edgar wyndham and the other old ones got killed off so quickly and didnt get more time to develop character, Im not a fan of when supernatural shows introduce hundreds if not thousands or more years old characters and they die quickly and all that story potential dies with them.
He should play The Master in the next series
