- Few anime worlds are as powerful as that of Dragon Ball, especially now that Dragon Ball Super has amplified all of the character’s power levels tenfold. Characters like Goku and Vegeta have always been on the cutting edge of the martial arts world, but now that they have to stack up to literal Gods of Destruction such as Beerus and Dragon Ball angels like Whis, they have a lot of catching up to do.
The tournament of power was a great way to show the Z fighters going up against the most powerful warriors that the multiverse had to offer. In this tournament, Jiren was an unstoppable force that took every ounce of power and skill to take down, but since then, the warriors of universe 7 have found even more powerful entities to fight.
After the Tournament of Power, the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly made his mark as one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse, and was only able to be taken down by SSGSS Gogeta. Broly was so strong that even Universe 7’s God of Destruction Beerus was concerned by his power.
The Dragon Ball movie Dragon Ball Super Hero also showed off some impressive power escalation from Gohan and Piccolo, as well as the pseudo-return of Cell in the form of Cell Max.
One of the biggest jumps in power is when the Cerealian Granolah becomes the antagonist of the Granolah The Survivor Saga. This pushes Goku and Vegeta to their absolute limits and shows off Vegeta’s new form, Ultra Ego.
But even Granolah pales in comparison to a fully powered-up Gas. Gas pushes the two saiyans to their limits until Frieza shows up and quickly deals with the Heeter member. Frieza spent ten years in a hyperbolic time chamber to unlock his new form- Black Friza, which vastly overpowers Goku, Vegeta, and the Cerealian, possibly making Frieza the strongest mortal in the series.

I believe it will come down to Gohan vs Black Freiza, with Vegita being the one to take the kill since no one will be able to bring themselves to actually kill Freiza... but Vegita has a reason as the Prince of Saiyans.

Because he says that in terms of where the anime is at not where the manga is at so yes gohan is probably stronger than mui and blue evolved but goku and vegeta don’t have their most powerful forms in the anime yet

I'll put Moro above Orange Piccolo and Jiren. Goku himself in the final battle in Moro saga stated that Moro was the strongest he fought so far, that was before he even copied Merus' abilities. I think Broly is ranked way too high on this list. I also think Gohan is slightly above Goku and Vegeta. Goku is also ahead of Granolah by the end of the saga. In the U7 strongest mortal rank, only Frieza and Gas seal the top 1 & 2

@@uptman I did and what I saw is that Gas was even afraid of a weakened Vegeta and if Vegeta were fresh at that time he would have done the same. He got beat up and got stronger and gas just was exhausted as well and we clearly saw that. Vegeta just couldn’t do what Goku did due to his injuries but after he recovered he literally kept up with Goku with no problem when they fought gas
@@thocka5144 nope he wasn't exhausted he was continuously sacrificing his age for power so he never lost a single bit of power bud. He never got exhausted or got weak he always remained the same until he just died of his age limit and got one shooted by frieza

Goku is not more powerful he just fought an exhausted Gas after Vegeta tired him out. We clearly saw that Vegeta was about to beat gas up at the end but he was just too damaged. They are pretty much equals

Not just that but when Frieza came Gas also did not powered up again and instead got killed by Frieza. Inaccurate, at the end of the Granolah arc the only characters above TUI Goku was Black Frieza & maybe Super Gas (Not counting Beerus because he's a moving goal post and obviously not Whis & GP... Super Hero movie is too unclear) but Goku was defintely above Granolah & UE Vegeta who are above him on this list.

Vegeta is stronger than MUI and equal to TUI. Goku fought an exhausted Gas and even Vegeta was about to beat him but he was too damaged at the end while Goku was fresh. Logically they are equals and we also saw that when they fought together at the end, Vegeta was not hanging behind Goku at all

This was a fun analysis, but a bad job at ranking. First of all, we don't know how strong Zeno or the Angels are. Which means that we don't know if Zeno is stronger than the Angels. Zeno is still technically a destroyer god, and the Grand Priest his attendant.
Secondly, it's not actually that much of a good idea to combine the anime and the manga in a list like this. Because power levels in the anime aren't the same as power levels in the manga.
And finally, although I don't know how this would track in the manga because of the above point, in the anime, aside from the angels and probably the destroyer gods, Gohan with his Gohan Beast form is confirmed to be the strongest character. At the very least, Gohan Beast, Cell Max, and Orange Piccolo are all above Goku and Vegeta.
No, that remains to be seen. I think we should wait a little bit and see before jumping the gun and saying all of them are stronger than goku and vegeta
@@unchaineddemigod794 I'm referring to what the writers have confirmed (at least at this point). Then again, the writers may have been referring to that battle rather than the individuals. But that also means that the battle was more intense than the battle between Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta and Broly.
But I would support Gohan being stronger than Goku at this point. It's about time it stopped being the Goku show and let the torch be passed to the next generation (like what was supposed to happen in Z).
