Wife and I were there this past October 2021. Loved it! We were lucky with the warm weather also! Cadillac Mountain is the place to see! Hope to return again someday!

What you don't see here is the huge drug problem in the area now that the coffee shops have moved in. Caffeine has made my childhood home unrecognizable.

@@dshift2225 LOL. Coffee shops are the reason for the drug problem??

It’s a joke. There is no drug problem. These are spoiled white people.

@@HermanIngram that's an anti White thing to say. Should they live in poverty and have to put bars on their windows to make you feel better.

Lived there and at SW Harbor some years ago...loved the sound of the fog horn, the carriage roads in Acadia and the crab rolls!

we absolutely love Bar Harbor, we have been there 3 times in the last 5 years and enjoy the delicious seafood at the Chart Room as well as Geddy's. The fish house grill is also good and Rosalies Pizza is delicious. The quaintness of this city takes us back to the good old days and this year was less crowded due to the lack of cruise ships. Acadia Natl. Park is spectacular and knowing that you can stay local within the city gives you a head start into the park each day. We hope to visit next year as well.

Very nice city looks to be! Very charming.
All cars are new or very well maintained. No old cars!? Looks to be a very rich country!!

ever since Walsh, Witham and the cruise industry, its been forever changed. Hardly the island it was. Bar Harlem is now at the point its too difficult for even the locals to run into town for daily errands. And now parking meters have been installed.... all this change and NEH struggles to fund their own FD. wild times.
