Right on! I own one of these as well. I loved the binding on the headstock so much, I just had to buy it! Fell in love with the tone minutes later!

I`m jealous,i`ve got a LP Classic like that,same year but no binding round the top and the colour is quite nice unlike mine sandy colour.Great sound as with that though.
