I was so sad with the ending, the way they nearly got somewhere then the sun came up did nobody think to check what time it was when they set up the uv stuff. It broke my heart, he was all alone his family murdered and then hunted by us and he didn't even really hurt anyone only Christians lol

Just watched the movie then your review X) great job, and a fun movie, some things i noticed in the movie, the chamberlain of the king said that the old king that christened the country lured the troll king into the mountains with a child troll, and im just speculating, but i think the troll we just saw WAS that child after being asleep for a thousand years, one reason is when you see the protagonist seeing the troll faces in the mountain at the beginning, those where VASTLY bigger trolls, second reason, in folklore and stories, this troll wasnt really in the BIG big tier of trolls, weve even made movies with bigger trolls (jotun in trollhunter) and small stuff like they immediately thought it was the king, then you get the after credits scene, which is just foreshadowing, how it looked perplexed when it picked up the child skull and then looked at itself in the glass and didnt understand what it saw, and small details like that... so yeah, im convinced this troll was the child, now imagine troll 2 with the ACTUAL king, as big as a mountain XD end of long post =P
Great action blockbuster with tales that are the backbone of norwegian folkore, a flick from a country with beautifull nature and culture ... good 7.2/10 for me..
This might sound crazy but in movies do they reuse soundbites over and over because I swear everytime someone gets killed brutally I hear the same scream. The only way I noticed it was from the TV show primeval every time a soldier died they let out the same exact scream as this Christian guy who first got killed by the troll. I know I'm not hearing things because that scream is very distinctive and I've heard it over several movies and not every dying person sounds the same so I'm assuming it is a soundbite

Just to note the predators in that TV series are from the future where only large predator creatures remain after wiping out humanity. Someone in our world creates something that allows bat's to become the new apex predator. They sense thermal as well as follow heartbeats so there are ways to trick them. Omg if you havnt seen primevel you have to it's brilliant
I thought the exact same thing, it reminded me of the 90s godzilla movie which I love, so had to watch it. I watched it last night and was smiling the entire time but I'm curious to see if everyone likes it or just me
I know a lot about trolls from mythology, and as soon as I heard that injured soldier praying after the first firebombing of the troll, I knew he was dead. Trolls HATE Christian stuff. They can literally smell it. So, I knew it wasn't just because the soldier was whispering and the troll could hear him. Nope.
In the movie,they said that a troll is made out of rock and sand.it seems to me that a troll has a exoskelet the skull that is shown must be from a giant.a completely different species.but it was good entertainment
Troll is decent, but be glad that you don't understand Norwegian, because the dialogue is cringe AF. If you want to watch a truly good movie about trolls, check out Troll Hunter. That's 20 times better. Hilarious and really well made.
I'm assuming the empty street shits were talked during covid lockdown. I'm thinking most movie people saw the opportunity to get footage of desolate empty areas for future use on movies. They be stupid not to because it will probably never happen like that again and not cost them a ton of money to arrange
