Under Oahe Diving in Trees

Scuba diving and spearfishing in the flooded trees on a flat on Lake Oahe. Compiled from over an hour long dive this video includes interesting bottom features and fish in the trees. Visibility ranges up to about 12 feet.

This is a wonderful video and channel! I live in ND and regularly snorkel the Missouri visibility is much better in the lakes than the river.

How do you go about knowing which walleye to shoot and which walleye you cannot

The SD regulations for spearfishing are the same as hook and line fishing. So in this location you can harvest only one over 20" and four total each day (regardless of method). So when diving, you have to assess the size quickly and decide.
