      That’s actually how all mechanic shops should be doing it to protect customers cars from any damage while working. Not all take as much care as others

    Hello, I am gas mechanic and never worked on diesels before. 2013 Golf tdi is in Limp mode and dpf light and engine light is on. Should I follow the same procedure as your video?

    Great job.
    I would disagree with just one thing.
    Aluminum intake does not require cleaning, but that does not mean that it is not dirty, there is a thick radiator inside that gets clogged from all return gases.
    Keep up a good job!

    forgot put the engine cover back on top :) are you a uk company, how much would that service cost ? I have a mk 6 0n a 12 plate 2.0 tdi remapped was 140 now approx 180, but 104,000 miles, runs great but mpg dropping and def does regenerate every 2000 miles ash, so thinking it needs a good clean out, but what about egr and inlet manifold too ?....

    • @sweis12
      @sweis12 Před 4 lety +1

      I would try "hotshot secret extreme diesel"once every 6 months . It did wonders on my injectors. I then started useing the hotshot secret Every day diesel treatment on every fillup. Ive noticed it regens a lot less and I get about 2mpg better on average .

      It regenerates every 2000 miles? That's a keeper. They say it should be every 300 miles.

    Should have kept it off!! All it does is waste fuel in regen mode and suck power. Makes tdi engines much less efficient which is NOT more environmentally friendly.
