Unpopular opinion but I absolutely loved Be He Now. Yes it was over produced and very indulgent but this was the biggest band in Britain at the time. With a shitload of money with the world in their hands. Album totally reflects this. Its an album of Extravagance, Indulgence, Attitude and Total Confidence at the top of there Game.
To be honest, being Liam's age, Be Here Now almost went by w/o much notice here on the Continent. I had a library copy and remember being blown away by the Beatlesque 'All around the world' but at first listen the other tracks didn't do much back then. I remember Noel saying that management should have kept them from recording that album so fast, while nbrs. 1 and 2 were still in full sale. But you know how those executives think, getting the most out of it in the shortest time possible. Back to my story, i couple of weeks ago i bought the 3CD edition of 'be here now' and have been enjoying particularly CD2 of the bunch.

He hasn't sang it yet, he sounds great these days but I don't think his voice has the range for Stay Young anymore, though he could easily play it a step lower to make it easier on his voice.
If the songs were perfect for him, he wouldn’t have crashed out as badly as he did in 1998. He lost his voice from screaming his lungs out every night in 1997. Lost his voice at the age of 25, such a waste

Btw, saw him in 2018, and he probably did the best performance on the festival I was, so he did recover quite well (Hashimoto disease is quite a pain mate ! + his total lack of technique of course, and "the rest" )

Where I live, I’m probably the only guy who knows about all the Oasis greatness, so whenever I play a lot of these songs in guitar stores I often get asked if I had written them. I just tell em “Look up Oasis, you’ve missed out on a lot of history”. 🤷🏽♂️😅 I LOVE OASIS!!!!
Be Here Now in my opinion was Oasis trying new things and bringing a new aspect to their music...... There are a couple of gems but ultimately it could have been better..... But without this album we would of never got the more classic tracks and albums to come from them! Progress doesn't necessarily have to be good but does ultimately make way for new and better things.

Liam was unreachable from 1994 to 2000/2001 but for me, the Be Here Now tour was were he was the best, the songs were perfect for him
