In California we have CILs and they mostly just provide interpreter services (by using a list of qualified interpreters and operating like an agency), and maybe provide advocacy. They keep having to pursue funding-- if it's that way inTexas too, then switching things to a CIL sounds like a very bad idea. What services does DHHS in Texas provide? We have vocational rehab with a DHH section, but nothing titled DHHS services. Just two cents from a California girl:)
+awti Dangit, I hit "reply" before I meant to; here's what I was gonna say: Translating the video is something I can do, takes about 2-3 hrs for a 3 min video. The captioning process can take 1-2 hours and I could use help with that part.
