  • BNSF 1940 and 1687 were reunited for about 11 days. This made for a nice pure set of green power, something that’s better tough to see in 2024. We start off on the Wayzata Sub in Minneapolis as night falls but we see 1940 and 1687 pull the H-NTWWLM over the Mississippi River and then see it go by Wayzata, illuminated by the street lights in downtown. Next, will see this pair on the Marshall local. I was dedicated enough to make it out this sub on 3 separate days. Lastly we’ll see the pair on the Wayzata Sub pulling Willmar’s East Local. Starting off at Litchfield and chasing to Delano. I had to cut the chase off at Dassel as the trian would end up seeing there until dark. This pair got split up on April 9th. It was a lot of fun seeing this power and hopefully it can happen again, while they’re still assigned in Willmar.
