- I tried eating Ukrainian foods and drinks for the first time and gave my reaction to the tastes. Some of the foods I tried include the popular Ukrainian dish; Borsch, Pampushki, Vareniki, Cutlet, Olivier Salad and the drinks included; Uzvar and Kisel.
Despite living in Ukraine for 7 years now, I've never eaten Ukrainian foods due to my fear of trying new foods. I have a phobia for trying new foods because mentally I feel they will not be tasty or will be strange for my palate.
I couldn't try some other popular Slavic dishes dishes like Pelmeni, Holubtsi, Holodets, Deruni, Nalesniki.
This is not a Best Ever Food Review Show, or some food reaction, or Food Insider, but just my honest reaction into Russian, Ukrainian, Slavic foods.
A big thanks to the amazing restaurant- Kasha Maslom for providing us with this food and giving us the opportunity to film at one of their locations.

Wow. Thanks Jason! Your words mean a lot. I’ll remember them for life 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Olivier is NOT a Ukrainian dish - it's a Soviet parody on a famous French dish. Shame on you. Закріпляти погані стереотипи про українську кухню - особливий вид шкідництва щодо української культури
Agreed, it's the most Soviet food ever, and has no connection with traditional Ukrainian food.
what is wrong with you - 7 years and didn't even want to try local food. It's the first thing what I'm doing when I'm travelling. Eating only local/national food.
Haha. For real 😧. I should have tried but I’m not just a good person haha 😂
Салат з майонезом з варених овочів не має жодного відношення до української кухні.
По виду йому нічого не сподобалось.)
