you were in the same position I was in - Had opened a few and heard about the hype but hadnt gotten an auto/mem etc. etc. and I just opened one on sunday and got a Nestor Cortes Auto! The hype is real!!!! Nice video as always!

Great video. Those platinum blasters have been really good to me personally. It’s all luck of the draw but I’ve opened quite a few. My first two back to back was a Jordan Walker rookie auto /99 and a Corbin Carroll rookie auto. Also got a Josh Jung redemption auto /75 that Topps already sent back to me! Wild stuff

I'm of the junk wax era(even then I just chased set completion or bought players for my PC) and haven't full on collected since the late 90s but stupidly jumped head first back into the pool last year (I would buy an odd pack here or there over the last 20 some years). I usually buy retail. But I really like the Topps Chrome Platinum better than regular Chrome for some reason. Had some decent pulls from 2022 CP and the one blaster I bought of 2023 thus far and this box was 🔥. I pulled 4 numbered cards including a numbered auto. /499 Ralph Kiner, /100 Bo Bichette and a 5/5 Tyler O'Neil. Also a /75 Fergie Jenkins auto (only my 4th ever auto and 1st numbered one).
I highly recommend that set every year!! Always tons of numbered cards

3:59 - I JUST bought that Richie Ashburn on Ebay. Beautiful card. Actually, no I bought the Blue Mini-Diamond. That's worth a little more than $4 bro. Hayden just got eaten alive by Trea Turner tonight. 🤣🤣 I dig that Oscar auto. Apparently, I need to start putting my refractors up for auction? I just toss them in the box to give away to kids or if I like the player in either my stars or rookies box. Again, love your stuff man. We need a Wade Boggs Beer Refractor.
Yeah some of my refractors from 2022 I sell in bulk on eBay and people love them!

Thanks for the video! I remember your hobby video pulling a Gonzalez auto, and I pulled a base auto of him out of a blaster too. You are correct about seeing multiple videos of people having great pulls out of blasters. I had terrible luck with 2022 TCP Anniversary, so when I ripped 2 underwhelming hobby boxes, I decided to go easy on the blasters. Some people just seem to do very well with certain products that others struggle ripping.

That was better, just not quite good enough. The autograph looks nice! A lot better than initials like a lot of the Bowman cards.
Man that is a big pet peeve I have! Lol but some of these guys are unfortunately not very well off over seas, and may not really know how to sign. So I try and remind myself this lol

Pulled a Ken Griffey jr /75 from a topps chrome yesterday. Super cool card but I’m incredibly new to this so have no clue if it’s actually a good card. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You finally did better, just not huge names. In 35 blasters I got 12 autos, best being Ichiro, base auto. For non-autos, I did not pull one orange, but got 2 reds. Also, 6 golds, 1 of which was a Tovar auto.
12 autos in 35 blasters is insanity!! Lol
