Thanks, James! You've always taken good care of our Ramblers. They are still in top condition after 4 years. I highly recommend Laid Back Cycles.
So kind ♥ Thanks!
James is the best.
Thanks! We love him and glad he is a part of our team :)
Good info and advice. I've looked at Sheldon Brown's online bike maintenance encyclopedia in the past and got some good guidance there too.
Sheldon did a lot of good work back in his day. Such a great resource.
nice vibes!
Great to see you riding
I live on the Scottish coast and lube the cables every 6 months, all my trikes a stored indoors.
Yep, you've got to keep those cables lubed, especially in areas with more moisture.
@@LaidBackCycles It doesn't take much time or effort if done regularly, BUT it does make a big difference to how they operate.
Please let me know which lubricant do you recommend for chains?
Which area do you live? There's lube for wet, dry and dirty climates.
@@LaidBackCycles I am in the Sacramento area.
@@dancurran8977 I'd use Finish Line DRY Teflon Bicycle Chain Lube. You can pick it up at our shop.
@@MickeyOBrien-dm3ud Thanks for the information! I have been using 3in1 oil because that's what I used 50 years ago. Do I need to degrease the chain before applying the teflon?
@@LaidBackCycles what about for dry climates like Las Vegas?
Thanks again for helping me out getting my 559!
