@C'dam A'ruz At summit, there is very less space so not too many people can not stay there. Also due to oxygen level, you require more oxygen at this level. If you are in queue to reach summit then you will spend more oxygen. We have seen many cases where climbers died due to oxygen cylinders unavailability.
At this atmospheric pressure an unacclimatized person would expect 1-3 minutes of "useful consciousness". After that they'd become "drunk", fall asleep and never wake up again. Of course the sherpa has his mask off like he's at a family barbecue.
Even Sherpas would do that if they didn't acclimatize. If you would go from sea level to Mt Everest in a couple of days or maybe a week, even as a nepalese with their genetic trait, you would experience the same thing. Climbing Mt Everest is a 2 month long endeavour because you need to acclimatize to the height
@@pontius4915 Precisely why there are camps at different levels ... You don't get to the first camp from sea level. You START at first camp which is already higher than most other mountains. Sherpas are better acclimatized. They are born and live in Nepal at high altitude. My comment was to say that EVERYBODY is already acclimatized by going through these camps. There are no unnaclimatized persons as if they had just landed stright in from LAX in USA, so the comment about a normal person passing out or falling asleep never to wake up is useless. We all know what happens when an airplane depressurizes - Oxygen masks fall down. etc etc. Its like saying that a normal person would be crushed by Mike Tyson in the first round. Of course they would, but a "normal person" waits until he is a trained person before picking a fight with MT. Hmmmmmmm.

@@cutler_beckett Bruh, compare the horizon at 0:24 to the horizon at 0:46. The further straight or straightish lines are from the center of the field of view, the more curved they are. That's how wide angle lens work. Even in an airplane at 35,000ft, the Earth's curvature is *barely* discernable. So yeah, the extreme curve that you see in this video is pretty much just the camera.
@@dannyboy5086 My mistake. Thought you were a flat earther as I just had an argument with one recently, so I was a little quick to jump the gun.
If I wanted to stand around in a crowd, I'd just go to Wal-Mart on Saturday morning.
Truly breathtaking.
Awesome. You can even see the earth's curvature at this height.
Maybe the best footage I've seen. Amazing
Thank you so much for sharing. What a great experience and glad you made it to summit. The queues are insane especially being in the death zone. God bless and thanks again
impresionante, se ve la forma redonda de la tierra, parece que estás en el espacio... increíble
Man this is beautiful
Just to put the height in perspective, passenger jets fly around this altitude.
A bit higher, more like 38-42k feet. But yes.
Too many people at the summit, not good for safety.
''Safety'' it's Mount Everest fs😂
@@Shivam-vb3ly and seat belt
@C'dam A'ruz At summit, there is very less space so not too many people can not stay there.
Also due to oxygen level, you require more oxygen at this level. If you are in queue to reach summit then you will spend more oxygen. We have seen many cases where climbers died due to oxygen cylinders unavailability.
@C'dam A'ruz V.
Safety? Lmao, if you start climbing you're already taking a huge risk
Imagine going through all that, only to end up 2 metres short of the peak
It’s breathtaking. You have to see it on your iPhone to really appreciate it
At this atmospheric pressure an unacclimatized person would expect 1-3 minutes of "useful consciousness". After that they'd become "drunk", fall asleep and never wake up again.
Of course the sherpa has his mask off like he's at a family barbecue.
Nepali ho ni 🤣
that is why they have different camps at different levels ? They don't just climb from 0 to 8000+ in one go ... hmmmmm.
Hmmmmmmm.
Congratulations!
I just can't get over how beautiful it looks from the summit.
It really does feel like you're close to God
you're closer when with your eyes closed and mind still. no need to go climb any mountain other than your own self. Its about what you dont know that you dont know. yes earth is beautiful god is awesome.
@@lucasmoita2153 Amen to that 🙏
Literally on top of the world. Well done.
not really
There is one higher on mars
Do u know the meaning of the word literally?
@BlackCleaverRenekton Do you know who Alisha married when she was a child?
@BlackCleaverRenekton Why are you asking me that?
