it's always the smaller indie studios man. I still can't fathom how a studio of 3 people produced such a masterpiece of a game 'Hollow Knight'. That also has some amazing soundtracks.

The White Witch never fails to make me cry. Combo that with the cinematic that plays and you got yourself one of the best endings to a videogaame ever.
I just finished Ender Lillies. This game is just as beautiful as Symphony of the Night. The OST, artstyle, atmosphere, everything about this game is just perfection. One of my favorite games of 2021
Ah yes.. Desolating with a tinge of despair, yet still hopeful, this game's BGM truly reminds me of Nier Automata. The piano accompaniment do wonders to the overall theme, haunting and beautiful, which matches the story's pacing and its air. The boss battle with Mother is a real tearjerker when it is coupled with the White Witch cutscene. This game is a hidden gem.
honestly felt a bit more NieR Replicant like to me, but... tomato tomato, those OSTs are incredibly similar with the emotions they evoke from the listener.
I agree, that track makes me feel absolutely terrible, and this is a compliment since it was the goal of the track. The effectiveness to which the sounds and effects that were chosen for this track is nothing short of amazing, because along with the scenery of the game, it brings such absolutely heavy fear, dread, and despair that i have never felt before listening to something.

@@user-jc1ps1uk7d thank you for putting this up, this is what got me into the game and its on my list, even top 10 in that of my most loved games. although short, that is exactly what has made this game so great, its music pouring over you effortlessly it sits right next in my mind to giants like nier gestalt, xenogears, xenosaga epsideo 1, 2 and 3 as well as persona, tantalizing me with the meanings it provides, its great soundtracks accompanying it.

The chills... i'm a very lonely guy and i love to do long walks in the woods near my home, this soundtrack always keeps me company. I also use this when i write stories, and it very helps me to concentrate and be absorbed by the writing. I live away from my home and my family to study, i have no love interest or near friends, but when i put on this music, all the sadness vanish, all the loneliness converts into a mesmerizing feel of comfyness. Thank you for teaching me the beauty of the sadness and the loneliness
I just love this part 8:23... it doesnt feel like you are fighting an epic evil boss, it feels like fighting against a friend & you feel sadness & desperation for every hit you strike him

In neutral ending the priestess purifies you and you escape Land's End, leaving everything behind. Man, I love Compounding and If You Gaze Long Into an Abyss. They're awesome tracks on their own but they're so different from the piano in the rest of the game that it really puts you on edge. And I really love the addition of the sharp inhale of breath noise in Abyss...honestly makes you feel like it's difficult to breathe, which you imagine is what the heroine is going through
In my mind whenever I heard one of the inhales I imagined it was the original white priestess getting suffocated by all the blight. It amazed me when I found out that she was getting controlled by the source of the blight all along.
A single song from the game randomly popped up in my suggestions. And I'm glad it did, because that allowed me to discover this masterpiece of a game and soundtrack!
I love these kind of games, and the aesthetic of this one is *chef's kiss*, and this OST oh god, thank you for uploading this, didn't know of Ender Lilies until today, when facing the last boss (probably, don't know) the combination of Mother intro & outro, and then the cut scene with the white witch... I cried, it was beautiful and so sad.... even now I'm still looping the white witch...
Many ppl doesn't give a damm about the song when they are playing, started the game as any other metrodivania, ready to be judged as it is, muted discord, muted everyone and decided to finnish the game simply by the deepness the sound track gives to it, simply masterpiece, could play any level trough hours as long as the song goes one (muted sounds of most game like sekiro) this is simply amaze, it adds to the game, the game feels better, everything fells like standing to place when you put the headphones, envy for someone being able to do something like this, simply perfect, a sound that adds to the game play, and even better adds to the game history, fells like OST from the gladiator, just made for the right game, the history wouldn't be the same, the deepness wouldn't be the same, the pleasure of playing wouldn't be the same without those piano notes. Congrats, you did a truly masterpiece. Absolutely in love!
This soundtrack is a true masterpiece, although I wish each individual track was a bit longer, I felt like it was looping too fast when staying in the same area for a long time.
I think I will choose Mother outro as a song for calming and moving my soul. The feeling and emotion arousing everytime the song play is just incredible.
Beautiful game, I enjoyed the blight as a villain. There truly didn't seem to be any evil behind it, which made it feel so much more monolithic of a threat.
the one game whose ost i would gladly buy. 10/10 was worth the purchase. I never read documents in most games i play but this was the first where i read EVERYTHING i found.
Bloom Intro is such a masterpiece and i only wish the piece was longer. The raw emotion of the composition and playing is amazing, such sad passion. Outro version is also beautiful and a great companion piece to the first part.
the fact that other soundtracks always has something backing it up, like drum or violin with piano. Bloom only have the agony calls of the violin for the intro and the sad woe of the piano for rest, telling us about Ulv's emotions. Lonely and sad, waiting for the day he could see the White Witch along with those flowers that she loved, his only friend.

the saddest part is lilly might just be the last person left in the world the ending c is the best but also bitter sweet. Yes we did stop the blight, yes we did save the white priestess, yes the blighted are free to pass on and yes the rain of death is gone forever however it's too late every one is gone.
Sooner or later people from outside will come in again to settle down, this time without a war like how it ended between the Land's end kingdom and the Ancients. The Blight only affected the Land's End and they cannot go beyond the boundary of the kingdom due to its ties with the Ancients, just like how the Knight is unable to follow Lily to the outside world in ending A. She is the last one of both societies, but there are people outside so she will not be alone forever. It is bittersweet for ending C, yes, but the sweet will erase the bitterness sooner or later.
I freaking love the North ost so much. It's so beautiful and clam. But at the same time, somehow epic in its own way. I haven't played this game yet, but if I can afford a good, working Pc, I will definitely play this masterpiece. Never mind, I just downloaded it on my PS5. Gonna play it tonight.
i like to say this game is the dark souls of 2d platforming, very in depth lore, interesting story, difficult bosses, even damage scaling works similarly

This showed up in my Recommended Videos. My thoughts hearing the first 30 seconds are that this gives me big Hollow Night vibes. Edit: 27.8 hours to play it to the end. Big Hollow Knight vibes, but still an original that stands on its own. Highly recommended.

You gotta try hollow knight. Same styles of music. Just as hard maybe harder but its like 30ish plus hours. I put 80 into it.

I played and finished this game twice 100% in 2 weeks. I've never done that in any other game.
I was also attracted to BGM and played it multiple times. It's a really great work!

2代目がいなくなった理由が穢れの溜まりすぎってなってたしいなくなった後に「果ての泉」から攻めてきた「穢れの王」はきっと…
最近作業用としてたまに聞いていたのですが、ふと穢れの王のところを見て驚きました。
穢れの王がフリーティアであるということで、以下の何点かに気付きました。
王の後ろに見える白い長髪。
体力３割あたりで髪から？出ていた触腕のようなものが消える。
体力ギリギリになると攻撃すらしてこなく、泣きながら頭を抑える。
これらのことから、戦闘しながら穢れを削ぎ落としている？と考えました。
うP主の動画内で穢れの王のトドメを黒衣の剣士に刺させたのも、フリーティアに対する介錯だったのかなぁと考えています。
話は変わりますが、フリーティアにとってはAエンドで国外に逃げるのは母としての幸せ。Cエンドは白巫女としての幸せなのかなぁと妄想しております。

ホラーチックな怖さと言うより狂気的な怖さで精神的に1番来るBGMだった

She is the last one of both societies, but there are people outside so she will not be alone forever. It is bittersweet for ending C, yes, but the sweet will erase the bitterness sooner or later.

I freaking love the North ost so much. It's so beautiful and clam. But at the same time, somehow epic in its own way.
I haven't played this game yet, but if I can afford a good, working Pc, I will definitely play this masterpiece.

このゲーム価格がとても安いのに世界観がとても作りこまれていて少しの希望もないのになぜだか小さな希望を思う気持ちが心の中で増幅されていって何とも言えない気持ちになる。間違いなく神ゲー。
ここまで素晴らしいのに音楽もクオリティーが高いっていうのがめちゃくちゃ好感が持てる。ただ……難しい！でも楽しい感動をありがとう。

It's Grudge, Harmonious and North for me. While Grudge being the most atmospheric track in the game imo. You can literally taste the despair in it.
It took me to the credits song (bulbel) during my playthrough to realize that the soundtrack was by Mili, though it is absolutely their style through and through

I hope that you will upload Ender Magnolia OST when the game came out. Its soundtrack is insanely great just like Ender Lilies.
