"The vast majority in all of human existence have engaged in child bearing and rearing and it has not ruined their lives" to paraphrase he even claims they're the happiest women in America. (This claims that because women have birthed since the beginning of times then it is surely fine, this argument can be faulty as it can be applied to a multitude of negative things) (he also claims married women are the happiest in America, this is a strawman as he is arguing against the happiness of women in marriages while marriage or happiness was never the center of the subject, therefore it is a strawman) Lastly Shapiro made the statement "I don't have an argument that pro-choicers are ignoring a premise" (This again is another strawman as her initial question had 0 to do with pro-choicers, it was an inquisition as to pro-life ideology. Once she's pregnant though, the only thing that will force her through a pregnancy is her body, because it's designed that way. There are many ways to prevent a pregnancy in the first place. We are spoiled for options to prevent it. Abortions are not without lasting health risks to the woman. It's much safer to avoid pregnancy in the first place (which is her autonomy aka choice), and it's not difficult to do. What you're actually arguing for is that women shouldn't need to be responsible with their choices, knowing full well what their bodies are innately designed to do. Nobody is forcing women to give birth unless the woman is chained up in someone's basement (again, illegal). There are plenty of options for women to avoid childbirth.
Why aren’t people talking about the root cause of the pregnancy and the responsibility of not getting pregnant if you don’t want a baby? That’s controlling your body!
"A straw man fallacy occurs when someone takes another person’s argument or point, distorts it or exaggerates it in some kind of extreme way, and then attacks the extreme distortion, as if that is really the claim the first person is making." So, basically she's saying that Ben was exaggerating her "right to her own bodily autonomy" as killing another human being. But the truth is that she has the truth distorted in her own mind. She is in fact taking the life of another human by exercising her "right". She also forgets that any "right" she has over her body is only limited to her own, not when there's another life in her body. You see this everywhere. People will believe their own lies to suit their wants. It's not about the baby (human life). It's about her. She also ran away because she didn't want her false reasoning to be proven wrong. She just wanted the last word. A child's temper tantrum disguised with fancy terminology.
More specifically, SHE was strawmaning every single pro-life by even claiming the issue is about women's bodily autonomy, because she implies by stating it that pro-lifers do not recognize women's right to choose. "As far as the idea that I stay awake thinking of how to control the women body" (this begins the strawman, as she never stated that but it is within grounds to disregard it initially)
" care about the preservation of human life" (this is a valid point and supporting detail for his initial arguement.)
"The vast majority in all of human existence have engaged in child bearing and rearing and it has not ruined their lives" to paraphrase he even claims they're the happiest women in America. (This claims that because women have birthed since the beginning of times then it is surely fine, this argument can be faulty as it can be applied to a multitude of negative things) (he also claims married women are the happiest in America, this is a strawman as he is arguing against the happiness of women in marriages while marriage or happiness was never the center of the subject, therefore it is a strawman)
Lastly Shapiro made the statement "I don't have an argument that pro-choicers are ignoring a premise"

So, basically she's saying that Ben was exaggerating her "right to her own bodily autonomy" as killing another human being. But the truth is that she has the truth distorted in her own mind. She is in fact taking the life of another human by exercising her "right". She also forgets that any "right" she has over her body is only limited to her own, not when there's another life in her body. You see this everywhere. Then they say that Republicans use the straw man fallacy on guns, which is not true. Democrats OPENLY SAY that ALL guns should be BANNED, and VERY FEW say that it should be limited. 84% of Democrats think that all guns should be banned and 76% of Democrats want to completely abolish the 2nd amendment. So Republicans saying that Democrats want to ban guns is not a straw man fallacy, because most democrats DO want to ban guns entirely.
I agree 1000 percent with him
What I find interesting is the woman can choose to have or abort the kid. But the guy has no say in the matter and if she keeps the kid he gets to pay support. Where is his choice? What if he wants the kid? What if he's anti kid? The double standard is appalling.
I’m a woman and I often wonder the same thing.
20 years ago a group called choice for men was made. The courts said shut up and pay or alternatively her body her choice. Don’t fall for the “I’m on the pill” if you aren’t ready for a child with that person.
If you don’t want children with any particular woman DON’T have sex with her.
If you don’t want any children at this point in your life either refrain from having sex or use protection. Don’t expect her to be the only one in charge of protection. If you want to have a child make sure your partner wants one, too. This goes for both men and women.
Your answer is very, very simple. You make your choice when you choose to engage in intercourse without protection. You can not conceive and then claim you didn’t have a choice. She could NOT have the child without your semen HELLO!!
You choose to have a child the quick 3 minutes before you passed out and fell asleep!
Your argument is lack of responsibility for your actions.
Man up SON!! You just agreed to 216 months of child support whether or not you like it as most states hold you responsible for your actions.
6 Million swimmers and you we’re the fastest, HMMMMMM concerning !!!!!
@@mikeoxbig4901 thank you. Young men and yes a lot of immature older men, too need to hear this.
she ran away so she won, duh
@@perimortem She won before she even took the microphone for she is on the right side of history. I'm sure the tens of millions of babies would disagree but we'll never know.
She ran away because like every true snowflake, she's a coward.
@@Vulpas love it
😂🤣😂🤣
@@perimortem Usually, a person finishes the conversation and it's clear that the person won. Ben asked her a question that she refused to answer. Therefore, she definitely did not win. She gave up and was rude and pretty immature in just walking away. She could have at least answered his question.
He may be a pretentious asshole, but he's always spitting facts.
She was just saying what her teacher told her to say...so she couldn't explain it
What’s terrifying is she’ll probably be head of HR at a large corporation in a couple years, if she isn’t already.
If were the hiring manager of that large corporation and had seen this video, she'd never get an interview in the first place.
@@jpyeatt9696 I will not hire her demographic unless I can guarantee their mind is not poisoned. You can usually predict their beliefs simply by the way they look. Hair color/ style, obnoxious tattoos, and facial piercings. They are conformists. They just share a certain look.
Thank god I work for a corporation focused on profit, and not woke garbage/ identity politics.
That’s the thing so many people like her are HR,Managers, executives ,politicians,Or any powerful careers in corporate organizations 😒
She just said straw man and ran away. What a coward.
That’s the only reaction you’ll ever get from woke people, calling names or insulting. it’s very difficult to have a conversation when you have no points.
He is anxious to preserve human life whilst blatantly ignoring the staggering daily death toll in Gaza! Ben, you crack me up!🤣😂
