- In this short Episode, Willie shows his recent add-ons to "Jim Ed" his 2020 Honda Monkey and answers the question "Do you really like the Monkey or are you just saying it?"
Hi from Canada! Got my 2023 about a month ago. I've put 150 km on it so far, still waiting for the weather to get a little warmer but loving it so far. So far I've put a rear rack from MNNTHBX, a phone holder and Mirror extenders(they make a big difference). I've also ordered a USB charger. Looking forward to the summer.

I’m definitely going to get the mirror extenders👍🏻and REAR shocks😳. There’s also the possibility of a little more aggressive tires.
The weather here is definitely not what you deal with but it’s extremely unpredictable this year.
A 70 degree day can be very easily followed by a 27 degree day… Mother Nature just messing with me!! 😂

Man that’s awesome!! I do love mine, it’s an absolute blast. Wish it was a little better in the “top speed” dept. but I’m an “underdog” fan by nature so I can live with it.
So, is yours a 2022? 5 speed? New colors? All the cool stuff?

Man, you're making me want to buy a Monkey just to tinker with it. I think that heat guard powder coated blue to match the tank would look great as long as the colors are the same.

I would change the other fuel bottle with a Coffee thermos. I love Coffee.
P. S. You can still go almost 100 miles when the last fuel bar starts to blink, you should have half a gallon left then.

Hey Tim I don’t ride and I don’t fish but I’ve been trawling through Honda Monkey videos for the past month as one of my gym buddies who is a Grom owner showed me a picture of the Monkey and said he was sure I’d love out and because I’m a small guy 5’4” that or was the perfect size for me of I wanted to have a fun bike. Well I’m hooked and I “want” a Honda Monkey, I’ve even booked myself on a pre-learner riding course so I can eventually get my riders licence and find my own Monkey. I love the Blue but will be happy with the yellow but I know I will find it hard to find one here in australia because they stopped importing them because last year they changed the safety laws and blue for all road motorbikes imported into Australia, bones have to be fitted with both front and rear ABS and I believe the Monkey only comes with Rear ABS. Anyway, one hurdle at a time, I need to learn to ride first and then get my riders license. I just turned 59 and want to get my license and buy myself a Monkey for my 60th birthday gift to myself so I have 11 months for my next goal… thanks for your inspirational video Tim, thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas. But it oooook!! I’ve been called much worse than “Tim” in my time.😂.
The Monkey is a great little machine and I believe it’ll go just about anywhere. In the Australian climate, with the right set of tires, you should have a great time on it.
I’m only 5’8” and it fits me fine. It’s a little thick so you’re legs will be “stretched out” on the sides a bit but you should be fine.
I’m not sure how they’ll do the “duel ABS” but maybe there’s a way?
I truly wish you the best of luck in your search. It’s very well worth it.

😃What’s not to love?! They get great gas mileage, they look extremely cool, they have almost as many modifications as a jeep, and most of all, crazy fun to ride.
There’s no way to “not” like a Monkey…lol

Fourteen tooth front sprocket,mirror extenders,big improvements.
Yes Sir, those are both items that I have given serious thought to. The sprocket really peaks my interest. Have you made that switch? Can you see a difference? I’ve only watched a couple videos on it. Any info would be greatly appreciated… Thanks!!
@@TheGraytOutdoors Yes I put those 2 items on mine,the sprocket is perfect gearing.I can see behind me now with the extenders with clear view.
