This is a stellar performance, but what I love most about this video is it shows that if you set a guitar up right, it doesn't matter how much you pay for it, if you practice and put the time in you will sound great regardless of what budget you set for your guitar :)
Exactly. I own guitars that cost low hundreds to multiple thousands. I can make them all sound amazing. Or crappy, depending on the day. LOL I recorded a song years ago with “budget” guitars to prove a point. People loved it. The most expensive guitar was probably still under $300. O_o

Finally! The Ibanez Gio returned with the double-locking floating bridge. Don't forget that these already existed with the Ibanez GRG270, the only thing I don't like about that model is that it has shark tooth inlays, I prefer dots like j.custom haha

I have an Ibanez Gio, but mine doesn’t have a tremolo system. I was thinking of changing the bridge so I can use a whammy bar. Is that a good or bad idea? I never changed the bridge on a guitar.

I just started dipping my toes in Japan’s metal scene and am both floored and thrilled to see so many women just plain dominating, and getting the support to keep going. Here in the West we have too many guys who can’t even handle a girl character in a video game.
Unfortunately I’m just not seeing girls cultivating this kind of ability and taking to the stage so much in here in the West and I hope that changes. There’s the phenomenal Lari Basilio (who has a beautiful Ibanez sig of her own) but I want to see more.
I don’t want to make it about gender either, but I can’t help but feel that there’s a different type of phrasing and refinement coming from Lari, Li-sa, Hazuki, etc., and I only want that to grow and inspire more folks to pick up a guitar of their own. I’m a guy and I’m crazy inspired by these exceptional ladies to work harder than ever 👍
I have a RG421PB, which is better than the model she is playing. But because of her skills and experience, she easily makes this one look like a far better guitar.
