- When some people ask me what I do for work most don't know what an agronomist is let alone what they do, so I'm here to set the record straight and tell you what an agronomist is and take you through a day in the life of my job.

This is inspiring I must say. Though I'm a final year student of plant physiology and crop production at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria. And I must say this, Agriculture is Life. No food no life!

Thanks for the wonderful video! I have a Bs as an agricultural technician (5 years). We have some things in common with the agronomists, but with more economics, management, and laws and similar, at least that what I got from the institute where I studied in Italy. I used to do molecular biology and some genetics around rice. I got out of it for things that sounded more glamorous but Funny how the world turns, 16 years later the idea of actually doing something useful that helps people and might let me live off the grid a little bit sounds way better!

This is what I’m talking to college advisors to become ❤❤❤❤. I had been disabled from Rheumatoid Arthritis but by me eating only real whole nutrient dense foods I brought all my RA symptoms down to zero and I have had the RA since I was first diagnosed at age 9 or 10 so now I want to help our farmers with regenerative farming in climate change and I think I want to go into research as well because it was the whole real foods that helped me not be in a wheelchair or have to use a scooter. Plus with climate change we’re going to need to be learning how to grow crops in hotter temperatures as well as potentially less water and or grow them different ways or get crops hardier.

From a climatic point of view, Greece has almost the same climate as Australia. Or rather, the climatic conditions of the two states are similar.
Greece has a temperate Mediterranean climate(Csa - Csb at Koppen). Its soils are calcareous with valleys of alluvial deposits. There is the cultivation of durum wheat (Thessaly) while in the plain of Macedonia we have tree crops that include species of the Rosaceae (Amygdaloideae) family. (almonds, apricots, peaches, cherries).
However, our strength is olive and olive oil, citrus fruits and kiwis.
Question, colleague ... What kind of soils do you have there due to soil degradation? What category do they belong to?
I oversee aromatic medicinal plants like Thumus vulgaris , Origanum hirtum . It is a dynamic crop as climate change forces us to invest in plants with low water requirements.

How a agronomist can earn per year in USA . If he did a masters in agronomy.
Agronomy is a vast field of study my guy. I don't live in the USA but I am an agronomist here in Canada and I mostly work in the cannabis field and in my case the median salary would be anywhere between 80 to 90k per year.
