    I also wanted to mention that i appreciate your teaching tutorials for the elderly. Now that my fingers are getting decormed and deviating from the normal body planes.

    Oh my god!! That's my problem, I thought I was the only one. Thought I practiced a lot and I can control the weak part of the bow, but it doesn't work all the time.

    I tend to get as near as the frog as I can because I think it looks impressive :) I guess the pieces I currently play are slow enough for that.

    and with retakes on upbow? it's hard to control retaking near the tip!

      It is, indeed. It's rare to do upbow retakes, so making sure the bow touches the string before starting the stroke is important.
