One, got a new wife and kids. Two, never should’ve abandoned his! Brian McKnight may have a permanent spot on our hopeless romantic spotify playlists, but apparently the slow jammin, smooth groovin’ musician is out here starring in a solo live action version of Jordan Peele’s ‘Get Out!’ Which, between You & I isn’t as uncommon as we once may have believed. After meeting his now Wife Leilani in 2014, their honeymoon phase appears to be lasting longer than expected. In fact, all Brian seems to do nowadays is praise his wife and Three step children. As he should! But what does a man look like praising another man’s children all whilst abandoning his own?! Well, I guess he looks like Brian Mcknight.
This is prime example why I never take BM seriously who date or marry out. BM dragged Russell Wilson for marrying Ciara because she had a son. Yet you have BM like Brian McKnight who will get with a non BW/WW who have multiple kids and baggage.

My dad is exactly the same. He was married to my mother had my brother and I. He remarried and he treats us like we are his stepchildren. It’s a sad situation but they’re men who are really that cold. My mother never said anything bad about him and has encouraged us to love our father and keep the peace. I truly love my father but I know we are not his 1st loves as his children. And for the record, I never liked Brian McKnight’s music and I didn’t even know he treated biological children like this until I saw this video today. Maybe I could feel through the music and vaguely watching him for the past 20 years on tv he was off. I never caught on to his musical vibe.
The thing about most black men is, they move on to whoever serves them. I don't know your father, so I'm not speaking about him. But what I do know is, when someone runs elsewhere and behaves like they have love for everyone (even children that's not their own).......it's a sham. In Time (as always) they will run back to those that say that they love them, as well as continue to love them regardless of their rejection. Or they will believe that those that they've rejected will always desire attention and love from them. The real turner in such delusions is when they realize that said person or persons could care less about them, neither do they desire anything of substnance from them, as they do not possess any such thing. This is the only time the reality of their works kick in, as th3. As there is a reason why certain minds exercise unwarranted abuse. As they expect said person/s to always want an explanation, some kind of attention or whatever else exercising poor psychology comes with. If and when you're fortunate to love from a wholesome and healthy place, the worst thing that you can do is extend it to anyone that doesn't respect you or genuine Love.

Look at his interactions with the new wife's daughter. She is more his type. He likes them young. He wore a shirt with the young girls face on it. He bought her a beach house and BMW. That is grooming. The I love our life and Brianized act is hiding something. He is sneaky.
It’s crazy how step-fathers end up caring more for children than the biological. My biological father was closer to his step-daughter. My step-father was 10 times the father he was 🤷🏽♀️

Hello everyone man I used to love him from a far, now I really don't like him anymore. After the way he did his first wife. I had a guy friend that was security for him here in Detroit, and they had nothing nice to say about him. The way he treated is wife he dogged her, hell I cried for her. 🏃🏾♀️

I feel like his sons’ feelings towards him stem from more than him cutting them off financially considering that they’re grown but more so because they see that he’s a better father, husband & overall a better man to his new wife & stepchildren (& now their newborn baby brother) than he was to them & their mother from the look of things. He married his two sons’ mother out of obligation because she was pregnant when they were young, he was relieved that she wasn’t going to keep the baby but she eventually had a change of heart (he realized that when she started showing). As far as his daughter, maybe there’s not much of an attachment there because of how she was conceived (a sexual encounter with a groupie during his first marriage) & that being the reason why he didn’t try hard enough to remove her from a toxic environment that possibly consisted of sexual abuse when her mother blocked him from getting involved…I guess being the babymom of a celebrity wasn’t what she expected, it’s not her fault but at least she has a relationship with her brothers & their mother as well. I get that people grow, evolve & blossom into new/better versions of themselves & change for whoever they want, but he’s just living his life like they never existed & seems to regret having them/having anything to do with their mothers smh🤦🏽♀️Sometimes children from previous relationships/marriages may feel neglected & abandoned when they start to see & hear less from a parent when they move onto to a new relationship/remarry & have more children/stepchildren & that parent may sometimes become more close to, be more loving & attentive to or do more for those children from that new relationship/marriage than them, especially if they live in a different state or outside of the US. Or they sometimes feel/think that sending/spending money is being there when it only fills the void temporarily when being there emotionally, spiritually & mentally as well as having time/memories with that parent is very much needed (speaking from experience).
They lived with and toured with him I think for 6 - 8 years… his wife offered his sons a job at the hospital where she works, they refused. And after they broke into his home and put exes apparently on his wife’s eyes and his eyes and made statements about how they would be better at least financially if he was out of the way you know deleted, that’s when he cut them off. my thing is this, he was involved in their lives… but some people aren’t emotionally expressive, maybe he wasn’t there the way they wished… but he was still there. But those sons are in their 30’s he bought them several cars too… so imo they ALL need therapists.

It is surprising how so many people are defending Brian. Even if you do not know about the abuse his first family endured, why would any father be so petty about his kids on social media? This is a punk move... and fitting for Brian. Dude is trash all the way around.
Unfortunately this is not uncommon. Had the same “situation” in my family. When adults move on or divorce & remarry & have “other” kids in the new relationship or marriage it creates drama! When you “blend” families it can get tricky. But you cannot deny your biological kids. Hopefully things will get better on both sides!
