Thanks for the tip! My Bissell Proheat Pet carpet cleaner was not spraying from the floor sprayers nor hand tool. Installing the belt was very easy and I thought it would resolve my issue completely, but it didn't. However, I can say it helped as it was a combination of things that ended up resolving the no spray issue. And here is everything I did to finally get my cleaner to work...might be your case too - unclogged one line near the auto load receiver (where the water tank valve connects), placed a tire valve cap (can use a screw) which pushes up on the tank valve to allow the water pump to do its thing, unclogged the heater (it was filled with gunky soap and calcium), and finally replaced the water pump (it would spray for just a few seconds, then go into a drip and finally no water) in both floor and hand tool sprayers. Just a note, these repairs did not happen over night or a few hours, if you know what I mean, but determination and confidence that I was going to fix this plastic machine kept me at it! Ensure unit is unplugged when working around internal components. Good luck! (Don't give up!)

@@jmayor88 hubs replaced the belt and wow was it an inch in diameter wider! Still, water isn't dispensing other than a dribble from the hose. He's pulled a few things apart to no avail. I agree with the kudos and the sentiment here, check the simple things first. I have a pet pro heat 2. 2021 model Sprays out the hose fine, but not the foot. When new it worked great but on the 2nd use a month later doesn't spray the same at the foot, hardly like it did the first time?????
Do u know what the best part number is that I need to look for ?? Sorry dumb question. Thanks for your video I appreciate it. Very helpful and clear. Well done
It would be hard for me to say for sure. These are all similar machines but they made some slight changes year to year - your belts might be slightly different. The Bissell website has all the manuals for each model number, though, with part numbers. :)
Did you find it didn’t spray at the foot? My issue is similar however I get adequate spray thru the attachments but not the foot. I’m gonna try replacing the belt to see if that works to fix this issue because I am all out of ideas
Thanks! Oh I don't know really much about these machines. From a mechanical standpoint this is just something that I thought might be overlooked... as it was for me for awhile. ;-)
Yeah it took me a while to figure out that it was slipping. I'm so used to there being a sound when belts are getting worn (automotive reference), or a smoking smell from the friction... this one was just so loose that it was freespinning.
We had one...worked 3 times...stopped spraying at all. Got a new replacement one at Sam's club...first time using it...stopped spraying after approx 3 feet of spraying. Never buying a Bissell ever again! I always buy Hoover Steam Vac's which lasted 10 years ea...this is first Bissell... NEVER EVER AGAIN
That’s odd. I found my Bissell on the side of the road. Took it home and cleaned it up. Replaced a few of the consumable parts (belt, etc) and it’s been running great since then. Seeing how badly mine was abused by the previous owner, I’d have to say it’s a fairly predictable and reliable machine. Good luck with your cleaner.
Mine comes out hose n cleanspray but not on foot. It dribbles but no constant flow. Hose n spray work great tho. Bottom belt prime. If i leave clean water tank in it drips out on top floor making mess
Ah that’s frustrating. I wish I could be more help. I’m mechanically inclined, but don’t know much else about these machines except what I noticed. Maybe search for a broken trigger on CZcams?
The suction? Could be how well the handle is sealed/plugged into the main part. I'm not a vacuum tech by any means, my background is in auto and aviation mechanics.
Probably where you put the collection container, it probably doesn’t have a good seal. Open up the container and then take it off, clean around where the top goes back on the container. Put it back together and you should be good. If not, take it outside pick it up over your head and throw it as far as you can. And that should pretty much take care of it. Problem solved.
I did a test from someone I seen online they said to put water on the floor and use the Bissell well it sucked the water up but I don't think it works without me putting the water on the floor 1st so idk 🤪
I don't think so. If you are having fluid pump issues you may want to check the traps to see if there is any lint in the filters slowing down the fluid passages. Also make sure the tank is pressed in securely; I've had it a few times where I thought it was in but it wasn't seated all the way.
I don’t think it impacts the suction. I think this belt that I’m talking about in the video just impacts the spray. I don’t know much about these machines, I just happen to be mechanically inclined enough to figure this out. :)
Thank you for your response I called Bissell and there sending me out a new machine since it still under warranty.thank you again for answering my questions.
I have the Pet Pro Revolution and i'm only having no water spaying from the handle trigger. The hand held connected directly sprays out just fine. Do you still think it's still the belt?

Well the only way to know if the belt is "fine" is to open it up and check and see if it is taught or not. Having a new belt to compare it to is a good idea.
