I know there are hundreds of different tutorials online for faux locs but there is none that show the different methods I use. I try to get the most realistic looking locs and I have not come across a video that helps me get the look I want, so I decided to create one myself. Sis I used to have real locks to my butt. I have mixed hair and my locks were a cross between bobs and your ones. Let me tell you these are the BEST looking faux locks and the best tutorial. I have been looking for days. If anyone is in doubt- please listen to this sister she NAILED it period

It does take time to do. I took about 4 hours to complete beginning to end đŹ
I did some not to long ago this exact same way, looked great but afterwards I began to question myself because they where not as neat as others I noticed. However who cares đ€ glad to see Iâm not the only one who prefers natural over neatness. Awesome job!

OMG thank you so much for this!! I'm planning on starting my locs soon but I didn't wanna go thru the "ugly" phase and the crochet method seems WAY too complicated. Your method is to the point. I've done yarn locs before so the technique isn't far off.

Just cut it below where you think your natural hair stops and then unravel the hair thatâs wrapped around & then undo the starter braid lol
