Ronda Spain: Stunning views & best hike to El Tajo Gorge!

We spent 3 nights and 2 days in Ronda, Spain. It really wasn't enough time...but we are a bit lazy! Perched on a plateau, with stunning views overlooking the El Tajo Gorge, this is one of the most beautiful cities in Andalusia. It is possibly the most popular Pueblo Blanco (white village). Fortunately, it is very easy to explore away from the crowds. We hiked to bottom of the gorge for the best views of the Puente Nuevo and the city.
Getting there:
We flew into Malaga and spent one night. Then we took the 2 hour bus ride to Ronda. The first hour was pleasant but the last hour was a bit CURVY!
Vacation Rental:
Calle Rosario. Great location just one minute walk from the Puente Nuevo and views of the gorge.
Eat & Drink:
Las Maravillas Carrera Espinel, 12: We ate here for dinner (indoors) twice and lunch (outdoors) once. Very good food and friendly service. It is popular. So, without reservations you may have to wait for a table.
Entrevinos C. Pozo, 2: We had a late lunch here twice. They have a small but ample selection of tapas and an excellent selection of wine from the surrounding areas.
Pizzeria DaVinci C. Sta. Cecilia, 3: We wanted to relax on our last night. So, we picked up a pizza (topped with grilled vegetables) and ate in our vacation rental. It was tasty but unfortunately cold by the time we returned to our place.

Great place is Ronda, we spent three nights there seven years ago after three nights in Granada, you have shown us some places we did not visit so back again next year! Thank you for your time and trouble making these videos, cheers from James and Kathy. 👍
