Learn how to stencil botanical feature wall

When you say to use gloss varnish, do you mean just a clear varnish with no pigment? Is that what that first leaf is?

Yes, just a clear varnish. There is a subtle contrast of the matte paint and the gloss varnish (the biggest leaves)

Does the first one have to be dry before you start the next? Presume the stencil would smudge the first one (an so on) if not?

Because you are applying the paint using a dry roller technique there is no need to wait as it is pretty much dry straight away
