Watch the B Roll from The Hunger Games! Lots of great behind the scenes footage! Courtesy of Lionsgate. Visit www.theyoungfolks.com Twitter: @TYFofficial Facebook.com/TYFofficial Subscribe!
Sometimes I think, "Hum...I could be an actress.' Then I watch behind the scenes, like these...and realize there is no way in hell. I wouldn't be able to convey the emotions they do, in such a simple state. Huge credit to everyone in this film, it was amazing-seeing it again tomorrow;)
I really would like to start an acting career, and I love watching these behind the scene videos because it's real and it shows what you might actually be doing.. I just am worried how I would perform with all the people and cameras around me...
i love watiching behind the scens footage because i want to do acting i just dont understand how u can act with a big huge camera in your face you cant look at it ha
Same here, I like watching this stuff because I either want to be an actress or a director, and it's nice to see what it looks like behind scenes.. But it's also kind if imitating at the same time.. Haa
I've acted on stage before, so let's say the live audience is generally the same as the camera. If you're really good at what you're doing, and you're emotionally and physically invested in the character, you completely forget about that fact that there is a camera and microphone and all this tech crew around you. If you're really into the moment, thats what makes a good actor. I've had my moments when I forget I'm even on a stage until I hear the audience clapping lol.
OMG, Alexander and Jennifer really do this the awesome way (well, the others do, too, but MAN that acting/running/jumping/climbing/fighting/shooting stuff is AWESOME). I love this! Everyone in this is amazing.
That scene at 2:19 was awesome and gutwrenching at the same time. Jennifer did a great job conveying a ton of emotion - panic, shock, love, sorrow and gratitude all in the span of about 10 seconds. Amazing.
The Hunger Games is such a smash!! I have been dying to see it and when I will watch it I know it will look easy and breathetaking then I will see the behinds the scenes like this and be even more amazed!! Just for the record, I think they should open up a Hunger Games summer camp
The woman who created that famous beard is named Ve Neill. And apparently she created it by hand painting the design in the beard without sketching it out beforehand. The first time it took to do this it took hours but then after that it was much quicker because their was a line to follow. Ve also hand painted the entire edge of the beard hair by hair to accentuate the crispness of the beard line.
yes, me too! i got the same problem!! They said that they wanna get great seats, while actually i can book online for Saturday with great seats as well. totally cannot wait for it.
Ah finally going to watch it this Friday because I got a half day for school and most of my friends are free. I can't wait either! It's been getting good reception from people who weren't even fans!
that is the sound of their breathing. you dont see it in films because it sounds kind of silly, but when fighting, you should breathe with each strike so that you dont get winded. in the video, they are doing it so that they can train longer without getting tired.
THE MOVIE IS AMAZING. i like this video it's cool to see how everything was shot when it's not edited and they keep rolling, or it's not super close up
AHHHHHHH I can't wait to watch this... Originally I was supposed to Saturday... Then Sunday. Now my friends are saying next week. Very annoying when you're so excited for the film.
I know it is weird acting infront of the cameras, but once everything is put together it looks awesome. That is what i like about movies. It is like magic.
Whoa...after watching the movie with all it's editing and dramatic effects, watching this is so much different o_o haha. The actors/actresses did a really good job :3

4:50 the look on Josh's face while watching Jeniffer
i love watiching behind the scens footage because i want to do acting i just dont understand how u can act with a big huge camera in your face you cant look at it ha
I'm guessing at first it's weird, then you just sort of forget that it's there. Kind of like an annoying kid who keeps vying for you attention.
Haha,thanks

*Intimidating

Must have been exhausting filming the action scenes over and over.

Yep
I never realize how incredible the acting is until I see behind the scenes.
this is why i love the b-rolls. seeing the real work that actors have to do. zero magic. just talent.

Jennifer was crazy good as Katniss, she makes everything she had to do look so effortless!
4:55 how Josh smiles while watching Jennifer act is so cute.
the whole part that starts at 2:17 is great. you can see the fear and feel the seriousness of the moment!!
gary ross is amazing director.he is so gentle and nice,it probably nice to work with him
this is real talent :3 people shouldn't have underestimate actors. they are all so good!
I love Stanley Tucci! He's so great even though he has such a small roll in the movie.

I love Stanley Tucci as Caesar...freaking genius. I want to go see this again!
i love how much detail they put into it.

I love watching the "behind the scenes" type stuff like this!! So cool :)
2:19 to 3:20 is one of the best acted scenes I have ever seen, all with barely any talking.
the acting truly is astounding, especially jennifers
I loved the part where Cinna gives her the jacket and she literally is shaking in fear of whats to come.
Same here, it's always so weird for me whenever I see behind the scenes of any movie.
The Hunger Games is such a smash!! I have been dying to see it and when I will watch it I know it will look easy and breathetaking then I will see the behinds the scenes like this and be even more amazed!! Just for the record, I think they should open up a Hunger Games summer camp

I love it how all of this was filmed in my state. NC
The bakery scene and the scene with the mill house exploding were filmed in Hildebran, North Carolina about 15 minutes from Hickory.

When they were in the forrest, and the noise came, the first thought in my head was "Lawnmower?"
