- Although I only worked in Lowestoft half as long as I worked in Cwmbrân, it certainly felt like it.
Join me on a guided walking tour of the UK's most easterly town.
This formerly great prosperous fishing and shipping town has been devastated by successive governments, with the New World Order's Great Reset appearing to be the last straw.

An interesting film I watched starring our favourite bottom character rik mayall.. Called one by one described exactly the present , he died shortly after its release.. Its on lbry if you want to watch it.

You didn't mention the fact that when you visited , all non essential retail, charity shops, pubs etc were all closed due to lockdown- you know, the one that affected all of England..... a lot of these places you said have "closed down" are actually trading again now that restrictionsare lifted. The town is nowhere near as bad as you make out to be.....
Then you make a video showing how excellent Cwmbran is and good luck with that.

My mum was born in Cwmbran and she moved to lowestoft and had me, so I live in lowestoft and once or twice a year go back😂😂
I spent a year in each place and that was enough.
This is why our goverment want us to holiday in this country to boost our economy,nothing to do with COVID.They don’t want you spending Millions and Billons abroad. Lowestoft certainly has its problems, but this is a cheap shot. Why kick a place while it’s down?

I agree with that. I’m just not sure that going round filming down alleys and the very depleted town centre whilst making unkind comments really makes that point. There are lots of funding projects being lined up for the town which would have been interesting to hear your take on. But I realise this is just my opinion and it’s evidently a minority one in this comment section!

Very few! I entirely agree with what you’re saying here in the comments; what’s happened to Lowestoft and similar places down the years should be a matter of national disgrace. I’m just saying I hoped your video would argue those points instead of simply inviting people to point and laugh.
Then make your own video about the empty promises of politicians "in the pipeline" for Lowestoft and ignore what I saw.

I enjoyed living in Cwmbran before CZcams came out but those were the films I wanted to make about it.
It is a shit seaside town. The villages are much nicer on the Suffolk coast.
Your vid of the town is spot on.

The devastation has been multigenerational.
It's upsetting how many once Great British towns share Lowestoft's fate.
