Socks, It is a little pricey and perhaps you don't feel the need for it - but have you ever considered Starlink internet? It can be used everywhere and anywhere, super fast internet, made originally for remote locations. I have it at home because I need it for work and the internet here is poor - I average around 190mbps download and 25 upload - I know lots of people have been using these for motorhomes.
The UK is probably a more developed nation than where you live when it comes to infrastructure. Almost everywhere has phone signal.

I have never expressed any desire to stand up inside a van, and I was perfectly comfortable in the tiny vans.

It's only a metre longer and a foot wider than my current van, and 50% higher, but those factors multiply out into a massive increase in living room.
