These small, "fancy" wet flies are fascinating, like downsized salmon flies. Thanks, Davie! 👍

What I really like is the multi species use for this pattern! Brown trout, sea trout and Salmon! I’ll bet it will also
catch landlocked Salmon and possibly Brook trout too which we have here in Newfoundland!
Anyone try it for Steelhead? A pattern good to add to my box! Thanks! Look forward to putting to the the test
in 2021! Anymore that catch multi species like this are appreciated! As usual, a very nice video!
    Keep on tying!

Fulling Mills hooks look great but with few outlets here in the states, have had to substitute - hopefully your videos will encourage tiers here to ask their local supplier to consider adding their line of products

Hi Davie, I tied the original pattern many years ago and had good success with it up in Sutherland for brownies. This is a spectacular looking fly and a wonderful wee variant, great stuff!!

Nice fly Davie, what about mixing 1/3 slf prism that has the flash in it with 2/3 of the black seals fur. Just a thought for a little flash. Love the pattern though

      Hi OldBear,
It is great to have a sponsor as it helps me to have more time to film though I could do with a bit more...I do plan to film a few salmon flies throughout the winter months as well as more trout which I hope you will enjoy...
      All the very best Davie

    Hey Davie,
What is fulling mills? A sponsor?
Glad to see you doing well though, congrats, you deserve something coming your way with all these videos and your dedication to the art.

      Hi CoLbEeBrYaN,
Yes Fulling Mill have sponsored my latest videos as it helps me to keep making them...Tying flies will not make you a lot of money so you do need all the help you can get though Fulling Mill do appreciate my views and will not interfere with me using other companies materials and hooks as it is important that I'm impartial...Thank you for asking..
      All the very best Davie
