For those complaining that these high quality foods are unnecessary and breeders at farms don't use such foods. My question to them is that can you survive on a piece of bread and a glass of milk all life? The answer is yes you can. But why we still eat a balanced diet? This is what he wants to show here. A balanced food for your shrimps so they can thrive and breed good and healthy. Also your shrimps are your pets so offer them high quality foods that they love.

I have Amano shrimp in my 20 gallon Cherry shrimp tank, and they will pick up half a stick of food and carry it away for themselves. I end up having to drop in more food for the Cherry shrimp.

I got a tub of the Shrimp King Complete and I have to say that I do not see this crumbling effect. In fact the pellet's seem to get a gummy consistency and texture almost like tar and yes while a shrimp can pull bits off of it I find that two or three of the biggest ones will just sit on top of it and hog everything leaving nothing for others until they are done eating. Just my experience maybe I got a bad batch or something.
What does the wildly successful Taiwan shrimp farm where you bought your shrimp from feed their shrimp ? Please ask Taiwan shrimp farm to reveal on what they feed their shrimp.
I’m planning on using a hang on back filter for a 30L crystal shrimp setup. Will this affect the feeding of Bacter AE and Shrimp King foods by losing important trace elements and minerals into the intake filter, or is there no effect? Would it be best to turn the filter off for a while after sprinkling some of this stuff? I can also use a small sponge filter instead, so which filtration would you recommend?
you might thiink its a hasslole but putting it on a switch maybe? so if you were to feed the powder one moment in a rotation like this it could be shut off so as to settle to the bottom for them - not sure just an idea. but if it settled to the bottom maybe there wouldnt be such of a loss of food once it settled to the bottom. then you could turn it back on and it wouldnt be sucked up into the system and filtered out. again just an idea. as well if it was a rotation feeding woudnt be off long ya know. I would try.

Do people in Asia ,those farms that produce tons of shrimp and the same people who brought Taiwan bees ...etc into existence use these products?? I think these products are waste of money . Shrimps in general are bottom feeders,they eat anything. there is no point in wasting money on such products.
I've not tried most of the products shown, but feeding an optimised diet is going to produce the best results. Bottom feeder or not, they have specific dietary needs that aren't necessarily always met by bottom feeding. Of course you can keep shrimp without special foods, but I think saying that all the foods available are a waste of money is a bit harsh.

+Ash Jenkins my problem is that this hobby and thanks to these companies and their fancy products will be something that not everyone can afford. 10 years from now,thanks to such videos people will start believing that unless I use this food and this kind of substrate and this kind of powder and that kind of whatever ,your shrimp will not make it. I once went to a store in Tokyo,they had Crystal red shrimp,I asked the guy that worked there,what minerals do you use to rise the TDS because ,he said they don't use any minerals and that shrimps uptake the minerals that they need from the food they feed them and by the way ,they do not feed them anything fancy yet the shrimp were breeding,molting ..etc the only thing they were using is an active substrate..their TDS was around 60 by the way.
